Guten Tag, Freunde der kunstvollen Unterhaltung. Heute geht es in meinem Beitrag um Lightpaintings, die in meinem kleinen Heimstudio entstanden sind. Wieder einmal war das Wetter in meinem Breitengrad sehr Lightpainter unfreundlich. Also ging es mit einer Tasse Kaffee und guter Musik in die Dunkelkammer.

Good afternoon, friends of artful entertainment. Today my post is about lightpaintings that were created in my small home studio. Once again the weather in my latitude was very Lightpainter unfriendly. So it was off to the 'dark room' with a cup of coffee and some good music.

Das Titelbild enstand unter anderem mit einer Schablone eines Sechsecks, welche ich gebastelt habe. Für die "Sonne" in der Mitte habe ich ein Bündel weißer / transparenter Glasfaser mit einer Convoy S2+ (orange) gedreht und dabei die Kamera bewegt. Der "Stern" in der Mitte wurde mit der gleichen Taschenlampe erzeugt. Für die blauen "Beams" außen, habe ich dann schwarze Glasfaser mit Convoy S2+ (blau) gezoomt und rotiert. Um die einzelnen Bildteile in einer Belichtung umzusetzen, habe ich drei Stative benötigt. Die "Sonnen"-Rotation habe ich am Ende gemacht. Um diese in das Sechseck einzufügen, wechselte ich während der Belichtung das Objektiv auf 12 mm.

The cover picture was made with a stencil of a hexagon, which I made. For the "sun" in the middle, I rotated a bundle of white / transparent glass fibre with a Convoy S2+ (orange) while moving the camera. The "star" in the middle was created with the same torch. For the blue "beams" on the outside, I then zoomed and rotated black glass fibre with Convoy S2+ (blue). I needed three tripods to create the individual parts of the image in one exposure. I did the "sun" rotation at the end. To fit it into the hexagon, I swapped the lens to 12 mm during the exposure.

Für das fertige Bild habe ich insgesamt 3 Versuche benötigt. Leider habe ich in der Vorarbeit ein paar Fehler gemacht. 600 Sekunden Belichtungszeit erfordern Konzentration von Anfang bis zum Ende. Ich besitze zum Beispiel ein großes Talent, während der Belichtung mit meinem Fuß gegen ein Stativ zu treten. Wenn so etwas passiert, stimmt die Ausrichtung nicht mehr und ich kann die Belichtung abbrechen, das Set neu ausrichten und von Vorne zu beginnen.

I needed a total of 3 attempts for the finished picture. Unfortunately, I made a few mistakes in the preparation. 600 seconds exposure time requires concentration from start to finish. For example, I have a great talent for kicking a tripod with my foot during the exposure. If something like that happens, the alignment is no longer right and I can stop the exposure, realign the set and start all over again.

Dieses Bild sieht auf dem ersten Blick nicht besonders aufwändig aus. In der Mitte eine Lichtfigur, die mittels Kamerarotation (6x 60°) entstanden ist. Der violette-gelbe "Schweif" außen hat michallerdings an meine Grenzen gebracht. Damit sich der "Schweif" ins Bild hineindreht, habe ich eine Stablampe mit Farbfolie beklebt und auf einer Drehhilfe montiert, um sie ins Bild zu gedreht. Gleichzeitig habe ich dabei die Kamera um 90° in gleicher Geschwindigkeit gedreht. Da ein Mensch in der Regel nur zwei Arme / Hände hat, war das ganze etwas schwierig. Keine Ahnung wieviele Versuche ich benötigt habe, damit das Ergebnis einigermaßen symmetrisch wird und die Rotation noch in die Mitte passt.

At first look, this picture does not look particularly elaborate. In the centre, a figure of light created by camera rotation (6x 60°). The violet-yellow "tail" on the outside pushed me to the limits. In order to make the "tail" turn into the picture, I stuck coloured foil on a rod lamp and mounted it on a turning aid to turn it into the picture. At the same time, I turned the camera 90° at the same speed. Since a person usually only has two arms/hands, the whole thing was a bit difficult. I don't know how many attempts I needed to get the result reasonably symmetrical and the rotation still fit in the middle.

Bei diesem Bild habe ich wieder mehrere Techniken während der Belichtung kombiniert. Zwei Stative, zwei Objektive und bewegtes Licht waren nötig für das fertige Bild.

In this picture I again combined several techniques during the exposure. Two tripods, two lenses and moving light were necessary for the finished image.

Das letzte Bild in diesem Beitrag entstand mit nur einem Tool. Glasfaser war das Tagesmotto. Ich wollte mit nur einem einzigen Tool, in Kombination mit Rotationstechnik, ein Bild erstellen. Glasfaser habt ihr in diesem Beitrag bereits kennengelernt (siehe weiter oben). Diese gebündelten Glasfaserfäden gibt es in verschiedenen Farben. Zusätzlich kann man diese mit farbigen Taschenlampen oder Farbfiltern beleuchten. Bewegt man nun diese Glasfaser oder/und die Kamera, entstehen unterschiedliche Effekte, die ich in meinem Bild kombiniert habe.

The last picture in this post was taken with only one tool. Glass fibre was the motto of the day. I wanted to create an image with only one tool in combination with rotation technique. You already got to know fibre optics in this post (see above). These bundled glass fibre threads are available in different colours. In addition, you can illuminate them with coloured torches or colour filters. If you now move this glass fibre or/and the camera, different effects are created, which I have combined in my picture.
