Wheat Harvest. | Night Mode|

in Photography Lovers2 years ago (edited)

The wheat harvest season has started. Since the month of April, it gets dry and wheat are also been emptied from the field. This is not a conventional method of harvest in the countryside. Farmers harvest it by chopping the stem from the sickle as a practice of traditional methods. However, in the outskirts of towns, these big machines are used during the season. The vehicles complete the harvest by segregating the grains with the chaff. In the modern world, it has changed the farming practice and eliminated the hard work. But, has it snatched the job of the farmers dependent on field jobs? It has. With the change, the acceptance of these vehicles is around time. The shift goes throughout the day as a result, the operator continues the work either during the day or the night.

Wheat cultivation is used as a cash crop in the plains of Nepal. It goes all out for sale in retail to companies. Flour factories are the major supply chain of this cultivation. The usage of wheat goes on almost every day in Nepali households. Wheat goes into the households' consumption in the form of Chapati, Noodles, Paratha, etc. which are some favorites in Nepal. Wheat is one major cash crop with diverse ways of consumption.

Capturing the moving object in the low light conditions was kind of hectic. It is an attempt at night photography in action.

Good shots :)

Thank you so much @woelfchen💫

Harvest time is the best time for farmers, all hard work pays off.

Indeed Sasha. Continous work over months pays off on a good day.
Is it similar ways of crops/farmlands back there in farmlands, Sasha?

Yeah, it is, my grandparents had a small land and were proud to be farmers. 😊

Dang, I missed this post. I was out this weekend and saw the harvest of soybean around here. Unfortunately I didn't have the camera to take some cool shots. Yours are amazing! What camera settings do you use at night?

Pleased to see you, man. Was refreshing your page :D
It definitely would have been a nice output from you. Two things have been pretty much on my side; one is not taking the camera everywhere, and not unwrapping the camera quick even when it's with me.
Thank you so much. It was mere luck here, batt about to go dead. lol.. Quick shots. The post-editing was made in lightroom. So, did the job well. I basically go for zoom shots which would go f/4+. Created lightroom preset over the year, this saves me during these times. See you around bro.

Awesome. The second and third shots are amazing, with those belts and other parts in the machines. It looks like some kind of machine wars \o\o\ I don't know how to explain.

Thank you so much. Now, it really gave that vibe. I felt that at the moment as well. Lucky to have the camera on hand. Edit added the essence :D
