Some sunrise shots from around and about taken last year

Some sunrise shots from around and about taken last year

I have been busy over the last week or so, a lot of time with the grandkids, Drs appointments for my Wife, and out for morning walks, so I am way behind in editing photos, which in itself isn't unusual, but also behind in having a few posts prepared in advance, so as I was thinking about a post for today I thought why not share some of the photos from last year that I edited and never got around to adding to a post, so I looked through my folders of edited photo looking for a subject and I thought why not go with some images of sunrises.

Starting with this one on Popes Island taken in August last year

What I love about heading out for a sunrise photo walk is one never knows what its going to be like, as its dark when I head out, sure I check the weather apps I have on my phone and see what clouds it is saying will be in the sky and somedays you think with the clouds it could be a nice sunrise, but one never does know, the clouds can move so quick and the sky changes so fast.

And even if you do get some nice sunrise colors, they can come and go so quickly so no two days are ever the same even in the same location, however in this post I am sharing different locations and different times in the year.
This next Images was in August again, and at the end of the harbor walk looking over the pier

Whether the skies are somewhat dull as in this next image or very colorful, I do love my early morning walks, starting with the morning blues and waiting to see what colors Mother nature will give us.
OK I thought I had picked shots from throughout the year, but still in August, this time behind the terminal for the Sea Streak Ferry, looking towards the Swing Bridge to Fairhaven

OK now I move on to September and a shot taken on Popes Island some nice subtle warm colors just over the horizon

On Popes Island again in October, The longer exposure makes the water look so flat, but the little boat in the foreground shows the water was moving and hence that boat looks blurred in the longer exposure

And a last shot taken in November, taken on the Harbor walk

Looks like October was the real winner as far as colors were concerned! Those are some amazing hues in those photos. Just be careful heading out in the dark! My dad tripped and fell down an embankment trying to get some photos of the sunrise while it was still dark out! :)

Yes I do think the same, Mind you A sunrise the other day may even top that I will share shots of it soon
And good advice, to be honest I have slipped and fallen a couple of times heading out while its still dark, both time on slippery rocks when it was damp, I am now more careful where I walk when its still dark

Oooh, I am looking forward to it and that is good to hear about you being careful!

Not as young as o used to be I need to be careful lol

These shots are super cool!

I have some shots that I keep taking as well but yet to include them to a post.

The good things is that one eventually finds a post for them so I just keep taking shots and keeping memories.

Thanks, and yes the same for me, honestly I could not take photos for a few months and would still have plenty of photos I could use LOL

Yeah.. That realization saves me stress.

It's a good habit😁😁

Ohh yea for me as well

👍👍

Each one is different and beautiful shots!

Thanks, no two sunrises are ever the same ;)

have a good day

I know what it's like to be behind. I live my life in a constant state of being behind. But at least you've got a lot of really awesome water pictures to relax with!

I normally am better organized and have posts prepared in advance, well not really better organized just have more time for editing and preparing posts

But i cant complain its good reasons for the most part while I have had less time, plenty of time with the grandkids and lots of morning walks

have a good day

If only there are better view for me to take good shot like you did I will be so happy. This shots you took are neat and really amazing

I am lucky to have some nice spots to visit at sunrise is true

have a good day

Such a beautiful sunrises 😁 and yes, they are ever changing. And you just don’t know upfront what will happen and which colours are going to greet you.

The breweries sunrise is stunning. Very beautiful.
Have a wonderful day @tattoodjay 👋🏻☀️

Thanks so much
I do love catching sunrises was out this morning to catch one had to leave home at 4AM

That’s an early one hahaha
I’m just asleep at that time. Before 2 I’m definitely still up.
But you have to get up to catch the sunrises if you love them 😎

I have been getting up by 4 since my teens
I used to crash at around midnight but feeling my age most days I am asleep by 10 these days

Yes, aging sure changes things… 😎

Nice colors! I think my favorite is the frist one. I just always like boat shots like that. Looks like a portrait. Like the owner would hang it on the wall in their house. I also like the shot with the reds. Looks ominous. Like trouble coming in.

the sky with a very extraordinary beauty, emitting a light that is so beautiful when we see it.

I love this one the most! It made me calm and at the same time give a little bit of mysterious vibes. Beautiful series my friend. Thank you for sharing this :))

and thanks for your visit and kind support ;)

you are very much welcome :))

You truly show off the brilliant colors in these shots, although the subtle colors are brilliant in a different tone. The colors are so intense in the first and seventh shots, I am totally in love with how they color your page.

The morning sunrise (which is also true of the sunset) may not look all that brilliant, a subtle break in the day. But minutes before the sunrise, the brilliance crawls in, making shots as you picture above. Opposite for sunsets. It is 15 minutes after sunset!

The world of color is fascinating!

My picks? number 1 & 7!

Thanks for your visit and feedback, looking at number 7 I wonder now did I overdo the saturation, often with sunrises I tone it down a bit if its a real colorful one, but perhaps I didnt with that one

Your so right the time just before a sunrise, sometimes 15 Minutes sometimes even longer and after a sunset, can be the most special times with Mother nature putting on the best display then, thats why if headign out for a sunrise I like to get to the spot at least 30 Minutes before sunrise.

and it does amuse me a little seeign people arriving just on sunrise time, or leaving at sunset as soon as the sun drops below the horizon knowing sometimes the best is yet to come

That is so true! Especially I see that in the tropical regions where people pay good money to see sunsets and run before the show even begins. I always tell them to stay 15 minutes more and they will get a real show. Once in a while, not, but, for the most part, yes!

I don't think it is oversaturated, I think it is perfect and the colors really popped for me. I frequently tone the saturation down also, especially on flowers. Remember the tulips? It is hard to use their true colors because the eyes are screaming oversaturated! :))

It's a game we play with them.

The pictures are gorgeous! I feel so far from water today!

I think it comes down to both personal preference and mood at the time when it comes to working out whether to boost or tone down the saturation on images. I generally try to bring it down a little as I know on my monitors it gives a good color match to what I see but have seen on others computers at work and at family and often find what I see on those shows as more saturated than what I see on my computer

Thanks kindly your support is appreciated
