The Call of the Wild

Perhaps the first book that gave me a love of reading forever was Jack London's White Fang. Immediately after this masterpiece, I began to read excitedly all the other works of the author. And of course, the cycle of northern stories about Alaska turned out to be closest to my heart. I probably found in these books a lot in common with the reality in which I lived and live myself. Of course, we are not talking about gold and types of heroes, but about one of the key characters –nature.

I'm always amazed that people keep huskies here in the South. They are a special breed but they suffer in our heat and it's true, they need space to roam

Beautiful… once you read something truly special. It opens up a whole world.
Beautiful capture of the sled dogs.

Awesome shots. My husky would be in heaven there.

What? No bearskin suit to keep your hinney warm in freezing temps? 😆 🐻

Seriously these are beautiful dogs, dear Northman. They seem happy to be out exploring with their owner and friend. 😊

I see it’s a woman who owns the sled dogs. Does she race them in the sled and other uses?

I think my little scruffy wolf would freeze in five minutes...

😂 He would, too.

They really do look awfully happy, big smiles on their faces. :)
