I usually enjoy taking photos in the rain. With an umbrella in one hand and my camera – combined with a small, lightweight lens – in the other, I wander through the streets, snapping photos that are sometimes more atmospheric, sometimes less so. On this particular day, however, the conditions were especially challenging, as the wind made it almost impossible at times to keep the umbrella upright. So it was just a short walk, during which I focused on the numerous murals for which Glasgow is famous, among other things. I wanted to visit at least the largest and best-known ones and capture them in a photographically interesting way. I’ll leave it up to you to judge whether I succeeded. Have a lovely day!
Normalerweise mag ich es, im Regen zu fotografieren. Mit dem Regenschirm in einer Hand und meiner Kamera, in Kombination mit einem kleinen leichten Objektiv, in der anderen, spaziere ich durch die Straßen und schieße mal mehr, mal weniger stimmungsvolle Fotos. An diesem Tag waren die Bedingungen jedoch besonders schwierig, denn der Wind machte es teilweise so gut wie unmöglich, einen Schirm gerade zu halten. Es war also nur ein kurzer Spaziergang, während dem ich mich auf die zahlreichen Wandmalereien konzentrierte, für die Glasgow unter anderem bekannt ist. Ich wollte zumindest die größten und bekanntesten besuchen und fotografisch interessant in Szene setzten. Ob es mir gelang, überlasse ich euch, zu beurteilen. Habt einen schönen Tag!
