Ukrainian doom and depression

in Photography Lovers2 years ago (edited)

Doom metal is a musical direction, an extreme style of metal.

Doom-metal is hard and heavy metal music. The basis is classical metal instruments: guitar, bass and drums. This music is apocalyptic, painful, as a rule, very monotonous (especially when it comes to the traditional groove-based doom), slow and not always melodic. The guitars are often low-pitched, the bass is pumpy, the riffs are rough, there are characteristic guitar slips, screeching feedbacks, solo trills that fade away, etc.

Classic doom can be recognized by the specifics of its sound (development and weighting of the hard rock beginnings of Black Sabbath, Pentagram, Bedemon, partly - blues elements against the background of depressing guitars, groove (groove - routine, looping, a certain rhythm), sudden rock and roll accelerations etc.).

As for the concept of death/doom metal, it is a slightly different path of metal development, in the modern order of things, which does not have much in common with traditional doom and classic doom metal. However, this is a kind of extreme and original genre.

Of the musical projects of the doom-metal direction in Ukraine, the most famous are Black Sabbath, Candlemass, Reverend Bizarre, Krux and Cathedral.

These are some nice candid shots of the show! Definitely captures the mood and energy quite well. Keep up the great work!

You are welcome!

Well, quality and original content are both critical areas. Low effort posts generally don't get as much positive attention.

Here in this community we generally tend to wait until the user's reputation is around 50 before we support and curate them. Many of the accounts with lower reputations have been scammers or people putting forth low effort content, especially if they have been around for a long period of time.

We don't curate from the community posts with just a single image. Engagement with your own audience and actively commenting is an important factor as well. Overall, exceptional original photography is what we tend to focus on in this community. Some of things things don't apply to you... just what we look for in general.

I have two posts discussing the etiquette on Hive and some of the best practices. If you get some time go check those out. They have a lot of helpful tips for success. Time and consistency are important as well. So, just do your thing... put in good effort... be creative and use your own original images and words (otherwise source your materials that are not your own content) and engage with others. That is my best advice.

I hope this answer helps you out a bit. Cheers bro

Well, it takes some time to get a following or an audience. If you post good content people will eventually take notice and be more active.

If you engage in other people's posts and make meaningful comments you will find more connections with people too. It's a social media platform so being social is important. It can take some time and consistent posting before you start getting more support.

Posts get made in the communities and then they just trickle down as others make more posts. So, getting featured in the community curation post is one way to get more exposure. Engaging is another way to get exposure. So, it's really just a matter of time and effort. It's rare that anyone just begins and has a great amount of support here.

I just looked at your account and it seems that you aren't doing bad. Some posts do get lost in the feeds and don't get as much attention or exposure. It took me a long time to get a 10 or 20 dollar payout when i started. You have more than a couple of those... so, just keep on doing what you do and don't worry as much about the payout.

I think that engaging with people and making friends of those that share similar interests is important to expand your circle. Check out some of the communities and be active in them if it's something you are into. Check out those two posts of mine that i mentioned for more tips... but overall i think you are doing well. You could engage a bit more on other people's blogs or within communities... but overall you are doing well.
