Stitching together a skate sequence shot.

On my lunch break today, I was just having another quick play around with a sequence I shot I took at Alexander headlands skatepark.

My mate Tim was boosting these 540 flat spins out of the quarter to flat so I shot this sequence.

I quickly stitched it together to see if it would work as a sequence shot and spaced out the images a little bit so it wasn't as cluttered.

I just used the feathered eraser tool in photoshop instead of cutting out each individual frame with the pen tool so it's not as clean, but I think it still works.

Either way it is fun to play around with these ideas. And I'm looking forward to shooting more skating sequence pics that I can stitch together.

These pics were shot on my Sony a7iii with my old samyang fish eye. And with a quick edit in lightroom this is the final result 😊

I think it's really cool to see all the shots stitched together in one frame! Super cool photography and i am sure that trick isn't an easy one to pull off!

Cheers mate I'm glad you like it 😊 it give a great view of movement in the one frame.
Yes you do have to take some hard Falls to get a trick like this dialed haha

Nice! The transition from the third to the fourth position....he inverts out..??
Would love to see the "jump off"😜
Greetings mate!😉

Hi mate, yeah a 540 flat spin is kind of like a back flip but you spin the 540 on your side. Sort of like a back flip 180 but not as invented if that makes sense.
