Hello everybody! I hope you're all well.
A few days ago I showed you some surfing photos taken in the last year at Matadeiro beach, in the south of the island of Santa Catarina (Brazil).
The beach is located between the beaches of Armação and Lagoinha do Leste. Access is made by crossing the Sangradouro river, which flows into the Matadeiro coast.
The place was known as Saco do Matadouro, because it was on this beach that whales were slaughtered for oil, in addition to the use of meat, fat and fins (the activities ceased in the early 60's). The beach is very popular with local surfers on days with a southerly wind, which, depending on the swell, provides good waves for practicing the sport.
Today I bring you some more photos from this series.
On this occasion, more focused on the figures of sportsmen watching the sea and some experiences with movement.
The photos were taken from the beach, camera in hand, using a Nikon D7000 and a 70-300mm lens.

Olá a todos! Espero que estejam todos bem.
Há alguns dias mostrei a vocês algumas fotos de surf feitas no último ano na praia de Matadeiro, no sul da ilha de Santa Catarina (Brasil).
A praia está localizada entre as praias da Armação e da Lagoinha do Leste. O acesso é feito atravessando o rio Sangradouro, que desemboca no costão do Matadeiro.
O local era conhecido como Saco do Matadouro, pois era nesta praia que se fazia o abate de baleias para uso do óleo, além do aproveitamento de carne, gordura e barbatanas (as atividades cessaram no início dos anos 60´s. A praia é muito procurada pelos surfistas locais nos dias de vento sul, o qual, dependendo da ondulação, proporciona a formação de ondas boas para a prática do esporte.
Hoje trago para vocês mais algumas fotos dessa série.
Nesta ocasião, mais focado nas figuras dos esportistas observando o mar e algumas experiências com movimento.
As fotos foram feitas desde a praia, câmera na mão, usando uma Nikon D7000 e uma lente 70-300 mm.
