As the famous adage goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words". This is what I want to show with these photographs with different motifs and perspectives, where a natural moment is captured, in every aspect of the person or persons in the photographic frame. It is the magic of photography, which is capable of capturing the very essence of all those moments, made possible by one's own interpretation and composition when taking the photograph.
This is how I show this first photograph of the happy face of the daughter of a friend of mine, her joy is due to a visit to a zoo in the city, and as the girl likes animals very much, you could appreciate all her happiness, and without a doubt it was the perfect moment to take a photograph of her. This separate portrait shows the pure awareness and consciousness that a child can have at that age and how she can enjoy moments like these.
Como se suele decir en este famoso adagio "Una imagen vale más que mil palabras". Es lo que quiero mostrar con estas fotografías con diferentes motivos y perspectiva, donde se plasma un momento natural, en cada aspecto de quien o quienes conforman el encuadre fotográfico. Es la magia de la fotografía, que es capaz de capturar la esencia misma de todos esos momentos, siendo posible por la interpretación y composición de uno mismo cuando tomamos la fotografía.
Es así como muestro esta primera fotografía del rostro alegre de la hija de un amigo mío, su alegría se debe a la visita de un zoológico de la ciudad, y como la niña le gusta mucho los animales, se le podía apreciar todo su felicidad, y sin duda era al momento perfecto de hacerle una fotografía. Este retrato aparte muestra la inocencia y conciencia pura que puede tener un niño a esa edad y como puede disfrutar de momentos como estos.
Some time ago I took this picture of a cat that my wife and I used to have, but unfortunately she is no longer with us. It was the moment when I was having lunch, when the cat, whose name was Camila, was stalking me for the food, and it was then that I caught her impressive gaze, with her strikingly coloured eyes. She was a beautiful cat that just by looking at her eyes, we could be surprised by her intense gaze.
Hace un tiempo tomé esta fotografía de una gata que teníamos mi esposa y yo, pero que lamentablemente ya no está con nosotros. Fue el momento justo cuando estaba almorzando, cuando la gata que se llamaba Camila me estaba acechando por la comida, y fue cuando capté su impresionante mirada, de llamativos colores en sus ojos. Era una hermosa gata que solo con ver sus ojos, nos podíamos sorprender de su mirada intensa.
What I like about this photo are the children still playing traditional games, away from all the current technology that has consumed the lives of many children, immersed in the internet, digital games and gadgets such as mobile phones and computers. It is the pure essence of these children leaving their homes in the afternoons to share and play.
Lo que me gusta de esta foto, son los niños aun recreándose con juegos tradicionales, apartados de toda tecnología actual, que ha consumido la vida de muchos niños, sumergidos entre el internet, los juegos digitales y los componentes como celulares y computadoras. Es la esencia pura del momento de estos niños de salir de sus casas en las tardes, para compartir y jugar.
Previously I had already published a photograph almost identical to these, but the difference is that there are two birds that are present in this image, during a sunset, which makes them sometimes look like drawings in their silhouettes.
Anteriormente ya había publicado una fotografía casi idéntica a estas, pero la diferencia esta que esta son dos aves que hacen presencia en esta imagen, durante un atardecer, que hace de estas aveces que se aprecie como unos dibujos en sus siluetas.
As I was passing by this place, this tortoise saw me and was desperately trying to get out of the place. As if the tortoise was treating me like an acquaintance it was excited to meet.
Momento al pasar por este lugar, esta tortuga me vio y trataba desesperadamente como de salirse de ese lugar. Como si la tortuga me tratará como un conocido que se emociona encontrarlo.
This photograph is a self-portrait I took during a trip to the state of Mérida - Venezuela. Moment when I made a stop in one of the villages of the state, close to the city of Merida, with an almost extreme cold, but around me a very beautiful view of big mountains, which connect the whole state.
Esta fotografía es un autorretrato que me hice durante un viaje al estado de Mérida - Venezuela. Momento cuando hice una parada en unos de los pueblos del estado, cercano a la ciudad de Mérida, con un frío casi extremo, pero al mi alrededor una vista muy hermosa de grandes montañas, que conectan todo el estado.
And finally my kitten Kira appears again, day by day looking for something to play with, although at the moment she was behaving very badly and was breaking many things she found in the house, or jumping up and down and knocking over any object she came across. But this moment I liked to capture her, when she was chewing on a bag.
Y por último de nuevo aparece mi gatita Kira, en día a día buscando con que jugar, aunque en este momento estaba portándose muy mal y estaba rompiendo muchas cosas que encontraba en la casa, o saltando hasta tumbar cualquier objeto que se topara con ella. Pero este momento me gustó captarla, cuando está mordiendo un bolso.

Recuerdo perfectamente tu fotografía del ave negra que, honestamente, no recuerdo muy bien en donde estaba parada. Me encanta muchísimo como simplemente parecen siluetas pero con un pequeño ojo que se distingue muy bien, es increíble lo genial que se ve, ni siquiera parece real.
Los gatos de color negro usualmente tienen ese estilo de miradas, los ojos de los gatos tienen tonalidades muy fuertes y cuando tienen un pelaje negro esto hace que los ojos se noten aún muchísimo más, captaste un momento increíble allí.
