Crazy Weather in Germany (6 Photos)

If you live in the US you have probably heard of the bad snow storm in Texas two weeks ago, right?
In some parts of Texas the temperture dropped by over 30°f or 15°C in one night an many Texans even woke up to 2 inches of snow! Many, to be precisely over 2.7 million people had no power and were freezing in the 16°f (-9°C)!
A rare Polar Vortex Split was the cause for this chaos, but not only the US was affected by this rare phenomenon, Europe and Germany, where I'm from, got hit earlier and were freezing too! Four weeks ago the temperature in parts of Germany dropped by more than 40°f (25°C) over night and got over 30 inches (80cm) of snow. So if you were brave enough to ignore the -4°f (-20°C) and went for a walk, the masses of snow would probably stop you after the first few feet. I mean don't get me wrong snow is absolutey awesome especially if you have kids.
But now to my photos, eventhough it was super cold, one week later all of the snow was gone and it was/still is really warm outside and spring is showing its precursors in the form of sprouting and blooming nature.
The photos include 3 'winter' ones from four weeks ago and 3 'spring' ones from the last few weeks,
I hope you enjoy them!
