Sunset by the Beach

Hello Hive!

This is my second post in Photography Lovers community and the first post after HF24. This is also my first post after officially being unemployed. I will now be more active here until I find something to work on. Anyway, I'm thankful for the support in my first post in this community. You can check it out through the link below if you like.

Tropical Island Vibe
La Manok Island and Carnaza Island

In this post, I will be sharing some photos that were taken during my first vacation after the lockdown was lifted. After six months of home-work-home routine, we finally had an opportunity to break the monotonous cycle that would have driven me insane.

We went to Maribago Bluewater Resort and Spa and even if it was just for a day, I felt my depleted energy was replenished. I haven't shared about the place yet, but I felt I'll some photos ahead. Don't worry, I'll share more in the coming days.

We stayed at the resort until sunset and it was magicthe al. What I love the most was the change in colors as the sun was setting. It was just the same view at the same place, but the change in colors signifies the progression of time. I don't know why, but I always love to look at the same view and observe the changes as time goes by.

This is the same view of the island as in my cover photo. It's still part of the resort, but it's still closed because of their concern of their manpower.

I liked the place when most of the people have left. There was this sense of privacy and feeling like we own the place

Most of the photos I've showed so far are from the main view of the resort. On the left side of the resort were the docked boats that should be for island hopping, but it's not yet allowed.

This was when it was nearly dark. The sun was already hidden behind the buildings and probably just passed below the horizon.

It was already getting dark, but I couldn't stop taking pictures. As you can observe in the photos above, the foreground is already dark.

All those photos above are taken when the sun had set. Now I wanted to share some photos when the sun was still up and the sky was still blue. The following photos were taken just before the transition.

Progression of Time
at Maribago Bluewater Resort and Spa

The second photo was my favourite in all of the photos I took when the sky was still blue because it was calm and I like the color palette, but when I consulted my friends, they said it was messy. I liked it anyway because of the calmness of the sea. Maybe I'll work on my composition next time. That's maybe the reason why they said it was chaotic.

I also liked this one, but the people in foreground ruined the mood for me. 😂

Here's another progression:

Before I'll end this post, let me share some photos of the cottages/gazebo at the resort:

I guess that's all for this post. I hope you'll like it. You can comment down below which one's your favorite. I'll post a travel blog about the place soon. Stay tuned folks!

Wait. Before I forget, this one's for you @perceval.

Wtf, your photos are amazing. I would love to be there. Thanks for this. I won't deceive you, not just anyone can take those pictures. Your photos are perfectly framed and with perfect angles. The only thing I can see in this post is talent and pure quality.💚

Oh, get a room.

😂🙈😂🙈

Aweee! Thank you! I still have a lot to learn tho. I'll ask Wes for tips in the future.

By the way, can you go out already there in your place? You should go to the beach or a waterfall. It's good for you.

Love the variety and play of colors you have featured here and their reflections on the water. Savor and enjoy your days of freedom.

Thank you! I still have to figure out what to do next. For now, I'll just devote 100% of my time here.

Beautiful shots. I would love to be there right now. It is starting to get cold here and the beach sounds amazing.

What beautiful color changes in sunset photos @ybanezkim26

I really like the first photo of a sunlit cottage🌾

Thank you so much, @bugavi! Of all the photos of a sunlit cottage, that's the one I also liked the most. That's why I showed it first. Nice choice!

Hahah, what a coincidence)

You got some talent! Cool shots you made! I like it that you posted 3 almost the same shots but just slightly different lighted. Something I could not imagine to make a post much better, but it surprisingly does!

Thanks so much, Sascha! I just wanted to show some progression of time on the same subject. I took the same angle at different times as the sun was setting. Like you, I initially thought it won't work, but when I saw the preview, I liked the result so I just kept it as is. Glad you liked it!

Your shots are so professional. I feel like visiting the resort now. Thanks for this post

Thanks, @soroleen1! I'm just an amateur tho. I still have a lot to learn about photography. Now that I'm unemployed, I'll have more time to learn those stuff.

Such a gorgeous sunset :)) Love it

Wow! Thank you, @trangbaby! I'm glad you liked this post. Do you have a particular photo that you liked the most?

All are beautiful, but if you ask me to pick 1, Iwill go witht the one you mentioned as your cover photo. It's good when people left and you had your own place to enjoy those amazing moments.

Yes! Nice choice. I do enjoy the place when there's only a few people in there. That's I don't visit very touristy areas.

Mesmerising view.

Thanks! It is indeed mesmerising. Being there at the moment I taking the photos, it was magical. Now, I want to experience it again.

Omgg saona ikaw ra'y subject sa awesome photos. Karon ikaw na ang nasa behind the lens. The glow up 💯

😱 Ganahan gihapon ko na subject sa mga awesome photos ni Darryll. 😂

Magnaning nako ug study and practice ug photography para mapareha kang Darryll kanindot akong shots. Haha. I think mao na ang real glow up.

@ybanezkim26,
