This is JuDee greeting you all an amazing day. Allow me to take you with me to the rising star in Asia non other than "Hong Kong."
Let's turn back the time last 2019 when travel is still possible and when covid is still not rampaging as of today. I was given the opportunity to visit the rising star of Asia.
It was during in mid of August 2019, together with my friends I was able to witness the modern and natural beauty of Hong-Kong.
I will be dividing our trip to Hong Kong in parts. This will be the part one and we will be focusing more on the modern side of the Hong Kong and then, the second part will be a surprise. 😁
So stick around and let's discover Hong-Kong together. So let's start with the first part.
From Cagayan de Oro City, we took the Philippine Airlines to reach the capital City of the Philippines. From there we stayed at the international airport for a couple of hours. Awaiting our Cebu Pacific Flight to Hong-Kong.
The flight to Hong-Kong from Philippines took around 4 hours. The flight was smooth and relaxing. From Hong Kong Airport we were took the bus on our way to our accommodation. We stayed at Tsim Sha Tsui. One of the busiest district in Kowloon. Kowloon is one of the shopping and nightlife destination of Hong Kong.
We intentionally stayed at Kowloon area for the sole reason is the main hub for all transportation of the city. It is also the heart of all activities in Hong Kong. Kowloon is also the trading venue of Hong Kong. We arrive in the accommodation late afternoon and we were a bit hungry after 4 hour flight and half hour travel from airport to Kowloon. After placing our bags in the hotel we went out to visit the known street of Kowloon.
As we headout to shopping district and nightlife place in Hong-Kong known as Kowloon. We will be traversing the temple street where all kinds of souvenirs are available and at a very reasonable price. The temple street also offers Hong-Kong local dishes and delicacy from ready-made meals, noodles, rice toppings, rice cakes, and different street foods.
Aside from mouth watering food, we were star struck with all the amazing skyscrapers, fascinating infrastructure, splendid modern attractions that attract tourist around the globe.
We explore the beautiful streets and encountered civil unrest along the way. It was a bit chaotic and we venture to the subway area and we were totally awe with its structure and remarkable architecture and designs. Aside from its remarkable layout and perfectly symmetrical outline. We decide to take the subway to visit our next destination which is the historical icon of the Hong Kong. We proceeded to the subway to ride our train. But we were surprised by the amazing feat of the subway. The subway hold another unique feature and its artistic modernity and cleanliness.
From the Kowloon District to the Hong Kong Museum took us a few minutes via train. And we were greeted by extraordinary sights outside of the train. It was a contrast of concrete and natural jungle blended in a strategic form making it eye catching and tantalising to look at.
We reach the Museum that houses the long history of Hong Kong. It also holds a largest preservation of its culture and heritage. The portrays of the past is visible and tangible at this present well preserved and protected to give the people in the present a glimpse of the past.
