Greetings, friends of this wonderful community. I want to send you all a big hug. I wanted to share that today I made a hand-drawn picture, dedicated to the spectacular game Rising Star and for the entire Hive community. I drew Jew's Harp. If you'd like to buy this deck, you can find it by searching for the ID number i113. This is one of the most interesting musical instruments in the game, and you'll see why in a moment.

I was saying that it's one of the most interesting aspects of the game because no two Jew's Harps sound alike. Unlike a violin, which many professional musicians can make sound exactly the same, or even the same as a guitar, piano, or maracas, the Jew's Harp cannot. This is due to how it produces its sound. It depends entirely on the player's mouth. To better understand, let me explain how it works. To play it, the player places it in their mouth. Once it's in place, they touch a small reed with a spring using their finger.
Touching the reed produces the sound; it's almost like a guitar string. And this is where the sound of each one changes. The mouth creates the echo of the sound, but as we know, every mouth is different; some have different depths, and others are larger and thicker. Since the inside of the mouth is different for each person, the sound that one person can produce cannot be imitated, making the sound created by each player unique.

I was really struck by this when I first learned about it. It means that if a musician has the freedom to create a unique piece, it's difficult to replicate exactly. That's what makes this jaw harp so interesting. I should mention that there are many types of this harp, and it has a different name in each region. It's very popular in Ukraine, where many musicians and enthusiasts play it. I've never seen one in person, but I confess that I would love to play it someday. If I ever manage to, I'll share my personal experience here in the community.
So, as you've seen in the photos above, I've been showing you how I hand-drew the drawing of the deck of cards and the jaw harp. And then how I colored it with colored pencils. But I still need to show you the finished piece.

Dear friends, thank you so much for viewing my drawing. I appreciate your visit. I'll be back soon with a new drawing. Thank you all.
