Welcome again! Another video, another opening, and a bit of chatting about this awesome game and sharing tips that I have learned by playing it and by reading your awesome comments!
The last 2-3 days were extremely active in the Rising Star game world! Firstly, we got pranked by doing webcam photos for a legendary card (April 1st joke)... After that, we got a new special mission named Easter Egg Hunt where you can find two special Easter instruments...
And, as it is the beginning of the new month we have a couple of new cards that we can find inside the packs! I have bought my 12 packs and found some of them already...

Now that I can breathe from laughing so much, I can answer your question lol...right now, I have been doing the longer missions more...it helps me set & forget while I do other work & I am more likely to stay on track to keep a good standing in the ranks (overall)...for example, I am doing the Local Mini Tour Support mission at the moment & had been doing the Acoustic Tent a lot as well. Even though a certain level is needed for those ones, I really find it helpful in leveling up & earning Starbits more consistently...
I also do the Music Lessons a lot as well to keep my Ego at bay and as you said, you can level up quicker with them, too. So I have also been doing those in between...
But I feel in the mood to do some Bunny action so I hope I can get that card somehow & be on my way! Good luck in completing those missions!

Thanks for explaining your strategy in the game... I do longer missions when I go to sleep, and when I know that I will be far from the computer for some time... It's great thing that we can combine missions how it suits our needs, and our free time... ;)

The mission i do the most is Radio Interview and Illegal Busking (5 minute missions). Mainly because I tend to do a spread of missions to optimize my energy usage and such that I only have to wait 5-15 minutes in between before popping a pizza. My general pattern is 80-20-15 or 65-40-15 minute mission length.
Interesting strategy... :) I also have these calculations with the "rest of the time" until the next energy boost, but I mostly do 1-hour missions (or lessons) and when I have less energy, doing 5 min missions to spend the rest of the energy until using the next boost...

I saw a mistake in my wording so I shall put down the actual strategy below.
60-20-5 minute wise (80-20-15 energy wise) Wait time before 15 minute mission: 5 minutes
30-60-5 minute wise (65-40-15 energy wise) Wait time before 15 minute mission: 10 minutes
I forgot this one for when I have to go out for a while.
200-60-5 minute wise (100-40-15 energy wise) Wait time before 15 minute mission: 15 minutes

I liked the Please Standy By music :D I'm on Radio Studio Session at the moment... trying to do the latest one mainly. That and some Music Lessons to help keep Ego from getting out of hand :D

My favourite mission is prob the shopping mall one, you get a decent amount of XP and starbits payout and only takes an hour. If I have extra pizza i always indulge in a little bit of this. I also love the longer missions to put live overnight! Helps to hot these targets as well.
Already got them! Trying to hunt some spare ones atm :) :)
I also like Shopping Mall! Even on higher levels, that's one of the best missions...

I'm recording demo's like there is no tommorrow. When it is done if I'm slow, I have around 40 and do a signing lesson, otherwise I do a couple radio interviews to hopefully snag a pizza.
hehehe... Who know, maybe one day you will sell those demos for good money! :) :)

Congratulations to @jfang003! And congratulations on all of the new cards (including the Bunny - I cheated and got mine of the market).
I don't know if it is my favorite mission, but the one I am doing the most often lately is Music Lessons. It seems like every time I get a new pack I end up with a new vehicle (which increases my fans, but not my skill). I am still low enough that one new card can bump my EGO by over 30%. Then it takes me several days to get it back to 0%.
Also, since I just got my Bunny, I see a lot of special missions in my future (at least through the end of the month).
Actually, that is great! When I started with my "strategy" that was my "plan"... That I receive fans from pack openings, and doing music lessons to catch the balance between fans and skill... But, as you can see, the "vehicle luck" stopped in a certain moment... lol...
