Hello! For this strategy guide, I'm going to do a short comparison to choose between Pizza Boxes or Cold Pizza Slices.
What's the Difference?

A Cold Pizza Slice (at the time of writing, 10000 STARBITS) recharges your energy instantly on use, but it can only be used every 24 hours.
A Pizza Box (at the time of writing, 7500 STARBITS), collects discarded pizzas for future use.
Both items are good for instantly recharging your energy, but have very different applications.
What should I get then?

Verdict:
Based on my level, I prefer buying up Cold Pizza slices, since I maximize the Saturday Headline mission within the day. For beginners who are just starting though, a Pizza Box might be preferred because 1) the drop rate for discarded pizzas are higher at the lower level missions and 2) pizza boxes are easier to save up for if you're not planning to put in more money in the game.
Final Thoughts
Ultimately, whether you get one or the other really depends on how you play the game. If you're a little more laid back and you don't have alarms set to go off for every mission that you start, then a Pizza Box would suffice. If you're a little like me who's a maximalist (is that even a word?) then the Cold Pizza Slice is the way to go.

I vote for Pizza Boxes
I have yet to buy either and also contemplated this and I'd have to agree I'm leaning more on getting the cold pizza slice first since it does not involve chance and you're sure of it replenishing every 24 hours.
