The Rising Star Game has been consistently rolling out updates, adding more stuff to its gameplay. In addition to lots of new cards added to the game, a new zone "County Tour" was released a few days back and is available to play.
However, you cant expect to go on a tour without a good experience and a band. You need to recruit 4 band members by doing the "Band Auditions" mission, which is available on Local Gig Circuit. You might not always have a good audition as finding good musicians is tough. So it might take you several tries before you unlock all your band members.
I've managed to unlock them after several tries. Here are my Band Members. Looks sweet right. You can assign them the instrument they use.
Ego Meter
We just had a new update to the game which is the "Ego Meter".
As you gain more popularity and obtain lots of fans, you need to step up your game as well and improve your skill. If the number of fans and skill don't balance then you risk of earning fewer Starbits (token in the game). Ideally, you want to have equal fans and skills stats in the game, however, few deviations won't hurt much either.
Don't worry if you're just starting out. The Ego bar and it's mechanism is only applicable after 1000+ fans (both drunk and permanent fans combined)

An Ego Meter, eh? About damn time someone added this into a game. I've had an Ego Meter for my whole life! How can I be immersed in the game, if I can't be the egotistical douche that I am in the real world?

Nah, I really can't imagine you as an egotistical douche 😄. The Ego Meter is indeed a nice feature. It forces you to balance your gameplay. It's similar to the real-life of a musician where a person gets really egoistic after getting lots of fans.

Really neat, indeed! Thanks for the kind words, but I know who I am 😂. This is too real, though. I wonder if more celebrities should play this for their PR practice. It'll probably train them to be less of a douche.
