Dude I have always felt the same way about what legalization means. Cannabis is a sacred plant, and now it has been turned into a profit machine! Just how you mentioned how the market estate has sold out Bob, cannabis has also been sold out. Yes I know there has always been profit motivated people within cannabis, but not as bad as today.

Once upon a time people would grow cannabis to support the community. Build clinics, homes, schools. Now it’s all about taxes, bottom lines, marketing, etc etc

Yes there are still plenty of good people growing for the love of ganja, and it is still sacred. But people need to think twice on what there voting for. Yes legalization is great, but at what cost?

Nailed it! Sometimes I miss the days of illegality. You appreciate the holy herb when you have to drive two hours for it, wait in a car, take a guy somewhere else, wait for him to come back, etc. The time and effort it used to take to get weed, kids these days will never know.

But yes, it's sad it's all going to corporate. Capitalism can destroy almost anything touches I fear. Hopefully cooler more rational minds will prevail in 10 years, and we will look to Jamaica as a model for legalization instead of the hot mess we made in the USA.

A great example of how capitalism can ruin everything is wine. Now a days you have all this cheap wine, and every year it taste exactly the same, since they have a formula for it. Lots of people don't even know what good wine is. Just wait for the same to happen with cannabis.
