Why I've paid for Netflix for a decade

in DTube3 years ago

Greetings,

If you live in the UK and are subscribed to Netflix, you would have either got the email or the login notification that the price will be going up next month.

I've been on Netflix for more than 10 years now. I've watched the price creep up slowly from £3.99 to the present day £8.99. On my next payment date, the price will be increasing to £9.99.

Netflix is one of those services that I think is so much value. I don't own a TV, so I watch it on my computer, phone or tablet.

In this video I talk about why I've been on Netflix for this long and why I'll stay even if the price goes to £20 per month.

Interesting take. I find Amazon has a compelling service. First I use Prime coz I am so far away from town that it is an hour drive each way for many things, so delivery is nice. Also I get Prime video and music included as well as photo storage.

I've got Prime too for fast delivery. I've seen some good stuff on Prime Video, but honestly between Netflix and YouTube and my audiobooks and podcasts, I run out of time so I haven't really taken a good look. I didn't realise they had photo storage included. I may check that out for backing up my non personal photos.

Well I should state I am speaking from the plan in the US, so I cannot be certain about the UK. The photo storage is very nice because not only is it unlimited, they do no compress the files at all. Many of my RAW files are 25MB plus.

I have had Netflix for a few days when I bought a Sony xh90 tv😀I only pay $ 3.5 for a 4k package. It is divided into 5 families. Now it's a great opportunity to make up for some interesting series. This is my big home cinema😆😍

That's a great deal :)
