Hatred can be a motivation and it can drive a person into a conundrum where they are totally blind to the repercussions of their choices. In life either negatively or positively we generally need to be motivated because this actually originates a purpose through which we people live by.
A revenge mission for example is a motivation that's accrued because of hatred and unforgiveness and irrespective of the fact that everyone deserves to hold the authority to be forgiving or not. The most terrible aspect of being motivated by hatred is that people don't realise they are wrongly motivated until they made the wrong decisions and now began to live through the consequence.

Hatred is a strong force, and we just need to be careful as human on which aspect we let it influence us. I believe hatred can motivate slightly positively too. But the best should be letting go off hatred and giving individuals another chance and listening to their part of the story just as you've said. Nice discussion buddy.
Thanks for the beautiful comment once again man, yeah truth is, I've seen people who has been wrongly motivated by hatred, it terribly drives them insane to an extent and they hardly even know that. In life we gotta understand that things will happen but we shouldn't only allow a clear mind motivate us at best.
