This weekend my friend Sofía and I came on a trip to a city 180 miles from our homes. It is relatively close, but it is in another province so it is enough for me to feel happy and to say that I'm on a mini-vacation. I have wanted to do these little getaways for a long time, I like to travel and that we both have the time available to do it is one of the best things that is happening to me. I think we both organize well together in terms of planning everything and mainly, managing the money to do it.
Este fin de semana mi amiga Sofía y yo vinimos de viaje a una ciudad a 300 km de nuestras casas. Es relativamente cerca, pero queda en otra provincia así que es suficiente para que me sienta feliz y pueda decir que estoy de mini-vacaciones. Hace tiempo que quería hacer estas pequeñas escapadas, me gusta viajar y que las dos tengamos el tiempo disponible para hacerlo es una de las mejores cosas que me esta pasando. Pienso que ambas nos organizamos bien juntas en cuanto a planear todo y principalmente, a la administración del dinero para hacerlo.
For start, we get very cheap train tickets. This is what prompted us to come here, since by saving on tickets we had more budget to allocate to other things. I had never traveled on a long-distance train and found it to be a super pleasant experience.
Para empezar, conseguimos pasajes de tren muy económicos. Esto es lo que nos impulsó a venir hasta aquí, ya que al ahorrar en pasajes teníamos más presupuesto para destinar a otras cosas. Yo nunca había viajado en un tren de larga distancia y me pareció una experiencia súper agradable.
As for accommodation, we came to a hostel. This was somewhat cheaper than a hotel and in my opinion, with more benefits since it is a place that has a kitchen where we can prepare our own food without having to depend on a restaurant. The rooms are shared with other people, that is what lowers the costs.
En cuanto al alojamiento, vinimos a un hostel. Esto era algo más económico que un hotel y en mi opinión, con mas beneficios ya que es un lugar que cuenta con cocina en donde podemos preparar nuestros propios alimentos sin tener que depender de un restaurante. Las habitaciones se comparten con otras personas, eso es lo que abarata los costos.
We agreed that we would save as much as possible on food. It is only three days, so our diet will not affect so much if we eat only noodles and flours. And it's basically what we did: these days we were eating noodles and ready-made sauces with sausages, to add a little more protein value to our lunches and dinners 😂.
Acordamos que ahorraríamos lo más posible en la comida. Solo son tres días, por lo que nuestra dieta no sé afectará tanto si comemos solo fideos y harinas. Y es básicamente lo que hicimos: estos días estuvimos comiendo fideos y salsas listas con salchichas, para añadir un poco más de valor proteico a nuestros almuerzos y cenas 😂.

All these purchases of what is fair and necessary allow us to save money to spend on what really matters to us on this trip: beers. When it comes to getting drunk, we invest whatever it takes and we both agree on this. Not for nothing is my best friend 😂❤️.
Todos estas compras de lo justo y necesario nos permiten ahorrar dinero para gastar en lo que realmente nos importa en este viaje: cervezas. Cuando se trata de alcoholizarnos, invertimos lo que sea necesario y ambas coincidimos en esto. No por nada es mi mejor amiga 😂❤️.
In this way, we can indulge in traveling, with little money, to a beautiful place and spend a few days off 😃.
De este modo, podemos darnos el gusto de viajar, con poco dinero a un lugar lindo y pasar unos días de descanso 😃.

If you organize yourself well, it is possible to do this, you just have to investigate where it is convenient to go that are not so expensive. This allows you to keep saving for more trips, which is just what we are doing ❤️.
Si te organizas bien, es posible hacer esto, solo hay que investigar a qué lugares conviene ir que no sean tan costosos. Esto te permite seguir ahorrando para más viajes, que es justo lo que estamos haciendo ❤️.

Saludos, me parece una excelente idea para conocer nuevos lugares, nunca he viajado en tren, me gustaría poder hacerlo y disfrutar esa experiencia.
El tren larga distancia es buenísimo, a diferencia del micro no te hace marear ni nada parecido. Ojalá puedas conocerlo ❤️.
