Recently, the alarming rate of social vices in my environment has skyrocketed. This could be attached to the high standard of living. Although, no excuse is acceptable as permission to be involved in one criminal activity of the other.
In another parlance, it is believed that crimes of diverse magnitudes are prevalent in nearly all nations of the world. No one would suggest the negative to this claim. All over the news, there are reports of criminal activities going on. Some are very heinous.
This afternoon, another crime was reported. This time, it has to do with a very young boy.
A woman who has a two year old girl, went to attend to a customer. She sells domestic wares and would have to attend to those who come to patronize her all by herself. Maybe this particular crime was premeditated or not, it leaves a lot to be desired.
While the woman was busy attending to her customers, leaving her two years old child to play around the premises, a twelve years old boy came from nowhere, without anyone looking the way of the two years old child. The twelve years old boy took the little child away, to an unknown destination.
After she was done with attending to her customers, it dawned on her that the voice of her child could not be heard playing around as usual. Maureen started to shout the name of her child, Marian but she could not be found anywhere around.
In a nutshell, the baby Marian has been kidnapped and it was by another child. A twelve year old.
For this case to be officially reported, in accordance with the laws of the land, the child must have been missing for about seventy-two hours. Since the police won't be accepting that the child is missing until after the seventy-two hours mark, Maureen shut her shop and went about crying looking for her baby.
After eight hours since baby Marian had done missing, a call ce to Maureen's phone:
Hello! This is Raj. I am with your baby. Kindly pay a $1,000 to get her back
Maureen was thrown aback following the call. Has her child been kidnapped? But the heard in the background is like that of a little boy.
Something led to another; the child was told not to do anything funny with the child. He was caught red-handed with the child in the stash house.
What is the world turning into?
A twelve-year-old child with such evil intentions and the fore-knowledge of seeking for money. And the only way to do that is to kidnap a child and then demand for money before the child could be released.
Who is to blame?
In every human problem, the three major causal agents are boiled down to individuals, family, the society and government.
When parenting loses its value for the sake of modernization. We have made laws against the will of God and nature. And now, it is difficult to remove a child who had done wrong for the fear of the weight of the law.
I have heard of school children, shooting at each other with life ammunition is high school in parts of the world. This is a fearful situation. If you asked me, I would tell you that the government has failed the society, parents have lost their values and the child who is in the centre of it all has gone decayed, all against society and peaceful co-existence.
Society now glories in the number of powers a child can show. Society now appreciates corruption more than hard work. Internet fraud under the watch of parents and the larger society is being celebrated world over. Civic education and moral instructions are no longer taught. What is taught now is how to gain power through the use of arms and force.
It is high time we reconsidered how we deal with the upcoming generation.
That’s a terrible story, ugh I couldn’t imagine. I do have an issue with the mother letting a 2 year old play in the yard while she is doing work in a strange place, even in her own home. Keep that child with you! I could understand 5 years old but 2 is far too young to do that with.
I think this is a widespread contagion of Marxism to an incredible extent. Societies are being torn apart at the seam for the attempt to destroy it all and create utter chaos and communism across the world. It may seem far fetched but the ultimate goal of the psychopaths in government and elite circles is to impose Chinese style communism the world over so they can control us peasants.
The best and only way to fight back against that wave of tyranny is to teach and do the best we can with the young generation so that we can stop this madness. The internet is an incredible tool but it’s also got its own dangers itself.
