Market Friday - The Eyes Have It

in Market Friday4 years ago

On a recent trip to Germany, I felt as though I was being watched. Eyes everywhere!

If I was back in the UK I would have thought they were the "covid marshals” that they're planning to employ to stop large groups of people gathering. If they do go ahead with this, I hope they make them wear a yellow uniform so we can see them coming. The world has gone mad!

Even in the hotel we were being watched. This little robot turned it's head every time I walked past. It was a little disconcerting to start off with. However, I soon got used to it as I kept walking past it numerous times just to make it move. I'm surprised I wasn't escorted off the premises. Childish I know.

Covid 19 has definitely affected the tourist industry as not many people out in the town. I still enjoyed my little trip though. Let's hope things improve soon.

Here in South Africa, international traffic is still not allowed, thus the tourist industry is suffering!!

We were very limited as to where we could travel to as well.

Ohhhh, that is truly creepy! All those eyes on you. Wondering if you are being watched, and, knowing it are two different things, aren't they? The robot in the hotel was actually probably taking your picture. :))

The eyes are all over!!! I am going to start looking for them. Unfortunately, because of it's size and different breakouts, international travel is a little bit verboten right now.

Le sigh.

I can only hope this will rectify itself soon. I am with you on that! This was getting old month ago! Thanks for thinking of me while you were away!! It totally amazed me to know how much effort people put into making their post. The challenge started and pointed out our differences in the beginning, but, then, it really started showing how many things our cultures share. When the day is done, it shows off how human we all are and how we basically all care about our families and others. I love the experience of it all. I appreciate the love and support given to #MarketFriday! Thank you! Truly! Your participation adds a piece of your world, and I have to say, people are interested in is seeing it. This entire challenge has opened up the world to me and so many others. Thank you again for being a part of all this! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Do you think the robot was really taking my photo? I can just imagine, someone checking the results and seeing lots of photos of this strange woman walking past many times, just to make the robot move. Ha ha!

I love #marketfriday! 💓

Lol... absolutely! 😁
