VISITANDO Y MI PADRE COMPRANDO | VISITING AND MY FATHER SHOPPING

Good morning everyone, today I wanted to show a part of a supermarket that I love, not only because it is super close to the area where I live, but also because it has several branches in different places.

My second reason is that despite the fact that it is relatively small, the owners always try to fill each shelf with national products as well as those imported from other countries, giving citizens the opportunity to recreate old recipes.

Therefore I show you my favorite section or aisle that I share with my father, here one of the most recognized drinks is the Coca-Cola brand soft drink, I understand from YouTube videos that in the United States they have a large store with products of the brands from flannels to pens or phone chargers.

My favorite soft drink is the one with a green apple flavor, but nowadays it is a bit difficult to get that flavor, which is why the second on my favorite shopping list is Orange or Chinoto.

Now we go to the aisle of sauces, the ones you can notice the most are: Tomato sauce and Mayonnaise, for which my father took one of mayonnaise that was needed in the house of the national brand Mavesa
It costs $2.82, which I think is fine internationally, but in my country it would be better to spend that money on chicken than being 2k you pay $6.

And for tomato sauce, the ones that take the number 1 place for flavor and texture is the national brand Pampero.

Then we can see the oil that is always needed for the kitchen as well as for those who prefer to cook that product with the Mavesa brand with margarine.

And then the aisle of sweets, the aisle that my boyfriend loves the most since you can find everything from pre-made cupcakes to simple cakes without any kind of decoration but that are perfect to take home and snack with the family, in addition to They can be filled to suit the person.

Then we can see the different orange juices perfect for cakes such as chicken in orange juice sauce, duck.

I loved it! Not only did you get to show me the local products, but, you told me your favorites as well. That was quite an education I got and I really do appreciate it. The only thing you didn't tell me is where you are living?

Venezuela? It helps us understand your country more. :) I appreciate the great job you did and translating back and forth. Much appreciated!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through by their markets, especially local markets and farmers markets and eventually branching out and evolving over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
