Visiting the Vancouver Waterfront and North Vancouver Market.

While my parents were visiting us, we decided to take them to Vancouver Waterfront, since it's so beautiful there right next to the water.

North Vancouver Market.

I like to take a sky train here, since it takes you right to the waterfront anx you don't have to worry about parking, especially during those summer months, where these places are very busy.

The only thing is that if the weather is not very warm, it can be pretty cold and windy right next to the water.

Right away as we got to Vancouver Waterfront, we took the Seabuss fare to North Vancouver, which is about 15-20 minute ride.

Watch our short trip here on the video.

Took these pictures in Vancouver Waterfront from a walkway to the seabus.

North Vancouver Market right next to the water. Love coming here.
There are lots of restaurants, ice cream shops and a market place where you can buy all kinds of foods, fresh local fruit and veggies and just all kinds of goodies.

*** This is in a indoor market place which is quite big with stores on a main level and then you also have stores on a 2nd level.***

*** We also got hungry so we had some Chineese food outside in the sun, right next to the water. It was delicious and thd pricez were not very expensive but actually pretty normal.***

We walked on this awesome pier where there are plenty of benches just so you can sit, relax and enjoy the beautiful view.

Once we came back to Vancouver Waterfront we didn't spend much time there since the sun was giing down and it was getting pretty cold, plus my parents were getting very tired, so we had to miss out on some things like walking in a park along the water where you can see all the big and beautiful boats and yachts.

Wow! The Vancouver Waterfront is beautiful! It's always nice to take company somewhere fun and it's always a good day spending it at the harbor. I take public transportation when going down also because it's never worth the traffic jam. It gets her really really busy, especially in the summer. That is the one thing about the water isn't it? It's either really hot or really cold oh, there's almost no middle ground. Great video! I really like the railroad tracks all lined up along with the cars it was a perfectly wonderful photo opportunity.

Their indoor market was full of deliciousness and I saw a dessert made of chocolate, as a matter of fact, a whole case of it! And I can't believe it but they have a jewelry stand. That was quite a plate of Chinese food! I'm glad that it was well Christ. I always loved the benches they have along the waterfront. I could spend hours some days just looking at the water. Your mom and dad look happy to be there. Where are they visiting from? I'm not sure when you took these pictures but if you did live recently I can't believe your tulips are just coming out. Well everybody is getting tired but it was a most beautiful day and I'm glad that you took us with you!

I hope you had a wonderful outing with your parents! I love Vancouver and I haven't been there since the hedge was put up. :) Toronto and it are fun to visit! Is it Cabbage Town in Montreal, right?

Yes. The Waterfront sure is beautiful and that's why I love coming here.
The chocolate stand is awesome. There was one also with all the candy and all kinds of popcorn products.
The jewelry stand was also something that always catches my eyes and I almost bought a necklace but decided not too. Maybe next time.

My parents came from Kelowna which is also my favorite place to visit. Its about 3 hr drive and its more tropical there.

I didn't know that you have been in Vancouver. That's awesome.

I have never been in Toronto, yet, since it's too far (5 hr flight) or 41 hr drive. Maybe one day.
So I couldn't tell you if it's Cabbage Town in Montreal. But it sounds cool and intersting.

Thank you so much for your lovely visit and support @dswigle.
Havd a beautiful day.

It is always a pleasure!

What a wonderful day out @joalvarez 😁
Yes it makes sense to take the train and don’t try to park in busy places.
Such a beautiful cityscape it is. Loved looking at your photographs. The market and food looks great.

Thank you @littlebee for your lovely visit and comment.
The waterfront sure does have a lot to offer and it's so beautiful but the best thing is that it's by the water.
