Improving agricultural productivity with the blockchain.

Ghana has shown to be one of the few African countries where food is accessible all year round. I'm delighted to share with you today one of Ghana's most important revenue-generating sectors, yet has less national support. Governments have made significant efforts throughout the years to improve assistance for the agricultural industry via the provision of vital agricultural support services. Irrigation, agricultural loans, input subsidies, agricultural extension, and mechanization are among the services provided to small scale farmers. The objective is to increase smallholder access to these services in order to boost agricultural output and rural livelihoods.

Women have an important role in increasing agricultural output in Ghana. They do this by just working really hard on their various farms every day. Food has been made feasible and accessible throughout the year as a result of their efforts, creating a significant amount of cash and revenue for the government. Despite farmers' attempts to boost productivity each year, there are still activities and other variables that impact their agricultural operations, hence affecting production.

Poor road infrastructure, lengthy distances to farms, and the inaccessibility of many service providers are all barriers to getting agricultural services for many small scale and subsistence farmers. As a result, the government must enhance road infrastructure and give logistical assistance to service providers in order for them to reach farmers in rural areas. The important problem, therefore, is to guarantee that services are made available to farmers in order to improve farm performance and food security.

The photographs I'm sharing today are of a market l once visited where yams are sold. Farmers from faraway places travel from distant places after harvesting yams to ensure that these yams reach cities and places where there is a market for their farm products. Government and other organizations' assistance in providing these farmers with better roads and other logistical services is required to help transport more yams and other food to this market. Food prices appear to be affected by the availability of enough food, making life better or worse.

However, the blockchain operations in poor nations such as Ghana might have a significant influence on agricultural output. The hive ecosystem has the power to assist agricultural operations via its promotional campaigns in our goal to help make life better in communities all around the globe. It is terrible that farmers do not get enough subsidies, and I think the blockchain may be used to support agricultural subsidies such as fertilizers.

The hive blockchain has the potential to play a significant role in eradicating poverty in Ghana and Africa while also boosting agricultural output. The blockchain may establish and extend irrigation systems to small scale farmers and communities via the supply of boreholes and wells, potentially improving food production and creating work possibilities for others. Rural poverty alleviation and empowerment activities in agricultural communities are a solid approach to promote the hive ecosystem through promotional campaigns. Thanks to @dswigle for the #marketfriday helping to showcase markets all over the world.
