Marketfriday has been specially designed for you to get you introduced to all the various markets around the world. The is the initiative of @dswigle, who through her great ideas brings to our doorstep these experiences.The day today took me to a mini-market here in the region where l reside. Over here, many people pass by this market to shop for all the various commodities that could be found anywhere else. Almost every item that is needed can be found at a very low cost. I stepped straight to the portion of the market where food is sold. And this is where l came from. In the photos, l share is fishes of all kinds that are dried. Others are roasted as well and exposed to the view of buyers that visit the market.
The Ghanaian market is mostly filled with many women as they are the groups that are largely seen as such places. This is not to say that women do not want to handle office-related jobs but it is limited to most of our parents. Young women are barely seen selling at the market places except for women of old age. Maybe the young girls do not have the skills to trade at the local market like this.
Each portion of the market has specific items that are sold. As said earlier, they are relatively cheaper and comes with many more packages. This is why most of the photos l took feature fishes of all types. It was a great day l must say. And thanks to all my readers on the blockchain for passing by for my experience at the market today.
