This is not actually my first visit to the market, Friday is our market days and i go there often to help my mum out. I came across this challenge from a Friend participating in the #marketfriday challenge and I decided to take some shot.
Am a guy but am not left behind when it comes to the knowledge of marketing, learning from my mom who started as a trader for a long time now.
Today as usual I went to help her get some goods when I took the following pictures of a maize, Millet, local soap and shops selling rubber shoes.
The price in the market for grains has gone higher due to this pandemic. Maize and guinea corn and other commodities now cost #400 per mudu compare to it previous price which was #130.

Welcome to #MarketFriday! You did your first post, so congratulations! I am not sure where you are located as you never mentioned it. When we are comparing cultures, it makes it more fun to know where you come from. I personally am interested in the cultures around the world and find it interesting to compare how different we are on some things and how much the same we are on other things.
I love the fabrics that are at the market. This pretty much tells me that you are in Africa as that is something very native to them. It is the little things that show off where we are from. I find that so cool! I find prices have gone higher for some things, but, the government has tried to shame companies into keeping the prices normal as many people are not working and don't have the income they once had.
I just want to say that I enjoyed your post and I am glad you took the time to post.
