Greetings everyone,

Are you familiar with Eid-ul-adha festival? This is the second biggest festival for we Muslim community. Festival means shopping and crowded market. So today's theme for #MarketFriday is Eid-ul-adha festival market.

This is the time when we Muslims who have capability to buy a domestic animal for qurbani. Qurbani means sacrifice and this is the time when people seems excited to buy a new domestic animal to sacrifice it sake of Almighty and distribute meats among poor and need people around us.

Today's market Friday post will be about bulls in the market for sell. And I'll share some images I've taken. This is the season of selling domestic animals and animal owners set a big price tag for his animal. Let's have a look:

The Biggest Buffalo In The Market

Look at the horns of it, so bigger. This buffalo is 4 lakh in Bangladeshi taka which is approximately 8840 hive, only richest can afford this price. People around this buffalo was taking selfies and photos because this is big and good looking.

The Biggest Buffalo Were Sold For A Big amount

Mostly bulls are perfect for qurbani and many people buy bulls from the market. Small bulls are even expensive here. Everyone ask about the price of bull and the buyer reply very proudly. Not everyone can buy this animal and this is because of financial status and has no realization of the significant of religion.

Did you buy cake and other snacks? How much were they? :)

Thank you for bringing us to the market and explaining the process of buying/selling and how Eid works. That was a lot for the buffalo! But, what a nice way of spreading the wealth for people who cannot afford it. Isn't that the best way to do it?

If you look close @leeart and @shohana1, I think they actually shaved the bull, it looks like his flesh to me, as he has a white face. This would make is easier to slaughter I am guessing or perhaps that is his coloring? Thank you for participating in #MarketFriday! I appreciate the time and effort that goes into putting a post together for the challenge. It is with great pleasure that I read through and realize how much we have all tried to include things in our world that may be unique to the area. I have learned so much about the different cultures of the world, especially the small things that go unnoticed except by those looking for them. Life is interesting, wherever you are, whatever you are doing. I hope the week has found you healthy and happy, as we all look to prosper in our way of life.

8840 Hive for one buffalo? That sounds a lot! But the buffalo does look huge. I haven't seen that kind of color of buffalo. The cake looks yummy too :)

Yes the buffalo is a big one and this color is unique too. For me this is also first time, I've never seen buffalo like this one. Thanks for dropping by here 😇
