So... we are opening up the businesses in New Jersey. Shopping is my favorite activity, so I am happy that I can go inside the stores now. Online shopping is very comfortable and easy, but it is much more fun in person.
Today we went to Old Navy. The store was fully stocked, clean and welcoming. Lots of sales going on, to encourage people to buy.
Face masks are required and social distance is in place. At cash register there are special markings on the floor, and registers are behind glass. With all these new rules, there is still a feeling of normality in the air. I love that.
My daughter and I are always happy when we can spend time together, with or without masks. Although our face are fully covered, you can tell we’re smiling. 😊

I don't know when was the last time I went to a department store! For several months now since COVID, the only stores I've been to are the food store, my local hardware store for pet food, and the gas station, LOL! However, I do continue to help the economy via shopping online, mostly Amazon for (only) the necessary soft goods like disposable gloves and masks, and reputable dealers and sellers for bullion... and that's it! No shopping for me! And I bet your beautiful daughter and wife were thrilled that the chain department stores are open once again! Thanks for sharing, @starjewel. Yes, as I said, it gives us a sense of normality. I love Old Navy t-shirts too and the yoga wear, my daughter loves the jeans they carry.
I can imagine how stores would offer sales now, for them to push their products! It is actually good to go on shopping now. Hehehe. 😊
That good that the mall put marks on the floor for people to follow. It's also good to see that people are practicing social distancing and are wearing masks. Though it is uncomfortable, but we are relatively safer that way!
It is always a best time to have a mother-daughter moment. ❤ We often do that. But my mom is currently not allowed to go out. Here in our country, individuals over 60 are still home quarantine 24/7. 😢

It is better to be safe than sorry. Be patient, it will eventually go away, and you will be able to take your mom out for a fun shopping day. 🥰
