This is so fantastic! I love old stone forts. Just love them. There are a few in the nearby old "Harbour defence system" that I like to visit, just cause they're awesome. I need to find some more that aren't too far away for day trips.
I do like how those steps are built; it must have made going up them easier alone a gradient than multiple steps.
I could say I don't know of these Forts over there that you speak of! Now, of course oh, I am going to have to look them up because any Fort is worth a look-see!! Thanks for that! I love Forts too. They are so cool. Old San Juan, Puerto Rico has a pretty amazing one too... a lot of the islands do.
The steps are more practical than not, but a little awkward when walking up. :) Thank you for the visit!
