RE: Original Research: Investigating The Therapeutic potential of Locally Consumed Grasshopper in Abuja, Nigeria, against Arthritis disease

Interesting, both the heartening story with which you begin and the research itself.

But, as you note, the result is that we're left yearning to find out exactly what it is about the grasshoppers that's helpful for arthritis! Cos maybe there's some other, more commonly available food source, that could play the same role for those of us who can't source grasshoppers! Two thoughts that come to mind are: is it the calcium that probably grasshoppers have plenty of? or is it maybe omega 3s, that I've no idea whether grasshoppers would have!

If we go by calcium then, practically we can get them from numerous sources like bone which has it in abundance.

If we go by the Omega 3s, then we will really require the quantitative animal testing analysis to actually back it up. This for sure are into consideration in further research.

Like your style of thoughts. Always apt with much to think about.
