Hace unas semanas realice una publicación donde les comenté que uno de mis gatos Akiles tuvo que ir al veterinario debido una afección en sus ojos la cual fue diagnosticada como Entropión , durante dos semanas Akiles estuvo en tratamiento y al volver a evaluación la Veterinaria determino que Akiles debía ser operado.
Hace una semana mi querido Akiles fue llevado al veterinario para evaluación después de dos semanas de tratamiento y allí dependiendo de su evaluación se decidiria si debía ser sometido a una intervención para corregir el Entropion, así hace unos 10 días lo lleve, gracias a la colaboración de una amiga protecciónista que canceló los gastos, a su consulta donde la Médico Veterinario determinó que este peludo debe ser operado para corregir esta patología.
Espere casi una semana por el presupuesto para la operación y para mi sorpresa la Veterinaria me hizo saber que el costo de la cirugía es de 290 dólares, se dicen muy fácilmente,pero no se consiguen fácilmente.
Así que he tomado la determinación de buscar otros opciones y decidi preguntar en la clínica donde tanto me ayudaron con Microbio, el gatito que tenía prolapso y definitivamente estoy segura de que en los meses en los que me vieron dando amor y alimentos a ese bebé, de alguna manera se dieron cuenta de que mi amor por los animales es genuino y deseo ayudarles de corazón, así que al preguntarles por el costo de la operación decidieron apoyarme poniendo a mínimo costó la cirugía de Akies,solo 50 dólares.
Así hoy lleve a Akiles para ser evaluado y en la opinión de los Médicos Veterinarios, ellos consideran pertinente el que Akiles sea evaluado por otro Veterinario Oftalmologo, ya que para ellos no sería necesaria la operación, así me indicaron el nombre del Veterinario y sus números de teléfono, llamé y la evaluación con todo incluido tiene un costo de 40 dólares de los cuales no dispongo.
Gracias a un bello programa de @laradio donde fui invitada con motivó de la celebración del día internacional del gato algunos de los oyentes de #Hive han conocido de la patología de la que está sufriendo Akiles, además de la labor que realizo y tuvieron la gentil y genial idea d colaborar con algunos Hive que hoy se han convertido en 5 dólares, así que para la evaluación de Akies restan 35 dólares.
Escribo esta publicación para que de primera mano vean que lo que mencioné en la publicación que titulé Donativo es real y puedan ver lo necesario que es la colaboración de personas ya sea de manera monetaria, en especie y/o difundiendo, para poder ayudar a los animales que ya tenemos o que encontramos en nuesto camino.
