Hola! Ya les había comentado como fue el proceso de "Germinación" de mi Caraota Bebé, ahora siempre me preguntan por las cachorritas (Hopita y Sugar), pero ellas son una más de las razones que me llenan de alegría, todo gracias a Caraota..
Las presenté en esta comunidad hace un tiempo, ya tienen un mes y cada día me sorprenden más con sus nuevas habilidades, son un perrito adulto escondido dentro de un cuerpo miniatura.

Cuando mis primas me mostraron una foto de la camada a donde pertenecía Caraota, yo la ví solo una vez, e inmediatamente dije, "quiero la más pequeña"... Sentí que sería el aceptar y querer de una vez a un pequeño ser en este mundo que estaba en desventaja con respecto a sus hermanitos. La llamé Caraota porque era la más pequeña y negrita de su camada, y a mí parecer ella me necesitaba tanto como yo a ella!

Mi respuesta final siempre es, "te aseguro que no lo vas a olvidar" y en efecto, cuando me ven nuevamente me preguntan por Caraota, la verdad es difícil de olvidar, que perrito se llama así?

A pesar de no haber tenido una mascota de cuatro patas antes, en un momento de "crisis existencial" sentí que tenía un vacío, un vacío que entre libros y consejos solo lo podía llenar una mascota. Se me ha hecho difícil tener mi familia, quería tener hijos desesperadamente, pero por cuestiones de salud no se dió y bueno, llegó mi hija perruna, Caraota.

Al principio no sabía ni cómo lidiar con ella, y el consejo de mi tío fue "Ana no te vayas a obsesionar". Yo pensé, cómo me puedo obsesionar con un perrito si lo que quiero es un bebé?" Jaja qué error tan garrafal pensar así! En cuestión de segundos yo no podía ni salir de casa pensando que iba a dejar a Caraota sola.. La llevaba a todas partes cargada y abrazada siempre y aparentemente a ella le gustaba la cosa...

I carried her everywhere with me and always held her and apparently she liked it....

Todo de ella era nuevo para mi, su emoción al verme llegar a la casa, es impresionante cuánto amor cabe en ese cuerpito tan pequeñito! Hace unos ruidos que parece que gritara de emoción, todavía, hasta el sol de hoy, siendo mamá, sigue siendo mi bebé... En mis guardias siempre pregunto por ella, tiene unas niñeras maravillosas, mis hermanas, que hasta llegaron a atender su parto porque parió justo un día que yo estaba de turno. Cuando yo no estoy, le hacen sesiones de fotos para enviármelas y hacerme saber que está bien y feliz.

Everything about her was new to me, her excitement when she saw me coming home, it's amazing how much love fits in that tiny little body! She makes noises that sound like she is screaming with excitement, still, to this day, being a mom, she is still my baby.... I always ask about her when I am on call, she has wonderful nannies, my sisters, who even attended her delivery because she gave birth on the day I was on duty. When I am not there, they take pictures of her to send them to me to let me know that she is well and happy.

Cuando me la regalaron ya tenía sus dientitos de leche y mi mayor sorpresa fue un día que ya no tenía el mismo apetito de antes, se veía triste, por un momento pensé que estaba enferma, pero realmente estaba mudando los dientes... Ok, los perritos también mudan los dientes 🤯 yo dentro de mi obsesión, ya le había tomado foto a sus dientitos porque me parecían demasiado adorables esos mini dientes de mi bebé, en mi mente creí que solo iban a crecer más y ya, no imaginé que los iba a cambiar por otros permanentes, tal cual un ser humano. Y bueno, empezamos a investigar y había que darles cosas frías para ayudar a aliviar ese malestar, le dimos durante ese tiempo porciones de zanahoria y mango congelados, le ayudó mucho. Finalmente mudó todo, en absoluto, hasta las muelas... Y debo confesar que como una mamá loca, tengo algunos dientitos de leches guardados por ahí jaja

Ok, puppies also shed their teeth 🤯 in my obsession, I had already taken a picture of her teeth because I thought those mini teeth of my baby were too adorable, in my mind I thought they were just going to grow more and that was it, I didn't imagine that she was going to change them for permanent ones, just like a human being. And well, we started to investigate and we had to give them cold things to help alleviate that discomfort, we gave him during that time portions of frozen carrot and mango, it helped him a lot. He finally molted everything, not at all, even his molars..... And I must confess that as a crazy mom, I have some milk teeth stored around there haha. Cuando nos mudamos a nuestra nueva casa, estábamos en el fuerte trabajo de jardinería en el patio, retirando toda la maleza, lo que más risa me ha dado de ella, hasta ahora, fue el descubrir que para lo mucho que le gusta estar en el patio, detesta estar sucia, se incomoda a tal punto que su cara lo demuestra sin disimulo jajajajajaja incluso hasta luego del baño... Hasta que se le pasa esa sensación de suciedad. Es una princesa mi bebé.

Con ella aprendí que no nos elegimos, nos conocimos por mera suerte para las dos, ella encontró a alguien que la protege y yo encontré el amor en un ladrido! Nos parecemos mucho, mucho, amamos la comida, las dos sufrimos de gastritis por lo que hay cosas que no podemos comer, pero como nos gustan mucho, lo hacemos igual. Si pudiera contar todos los días algo nuevo de ella, estoy segura que lo haría con placer, pues para mí, saber que ella existe, es un gusto que jamás dejaré de sentir. Y ahora que Germinó, es otro nivel! En definitiva, una mascota es una bendición!
