Our walk was lovely and sunny and we got to meet Sam, Holly's favourite friend, and now Mia's too!
Sam has many friends as he's very playful and bounces around with any dog he comes across.. He's carrying a ball in the video, which isn't his... His Dad has never bought him any, as he loves picking up the ones he finds on walks and won't let go of them.. Sam's Dad's car is full of those balls..
I always make an effort to find a lost one, I don't like things left behind. Sometimes I ask the girls for help, but often they are pretty useless at it.. Not necessarily because they can't, because they are terriers.. 😄
We had a shower afterwards WITH shampoo! It was clearly long overdue.. Forgot to take pictures of the water..

I was pleased to not find any debris left behind at this "campsite".
This one got a good old push! It's amazing how careful I was, not to get hit.. I MUST be getting old.. 🙃
Before getting back to the car, Holly got "lost" for some time and I started to get worried slightly.. when she finally returned to my calls and whistles, it was apparent that she had found something to digest, or I should say rather not.. the little dustbin had a slight hiccup afterwards..
Watch how her ears go up at the end.. ha ha

It sure can be.. not so much the running away, she's totally bonded to me and will try to come back no matter what, but she might be stuck in a hole where I can't get her.
Trouble is that she won't bark for help, I guess that's coming from her stray days,as it's safer to keep quite. Mia would at least whine so I'd hear where she is.
But she's fine.. snoozing next to me, thanks, Steve!

It's a quarry in Bedfordshire in the UK.
Some of it is a little bare where they're digging, but it's slowly growing back again.
