Muchas veces he sentido ganas tener un vínculo especial con animales que son salvajes y viven en libertad, sin embargo, respeto mucho la naturaleza de cada ser vivo. Disfruto ver animales en su hábitat natural, ver sus comportamientos en comunidad y el cómo manifiestan sus instintos... Es realmente hermoso. Por eso, quisiera aclarar que no estoy de acuerdo con la distribución y venta de animales exóticos como mascotas, simplemente plantearé un escenario hipotético en el que tenga todas las condiciones para que un animalito pueda vivir como merece ❤️.

Many times I have felt like having a special bond with animals that are wild and live in freedom, however, I greatly respect the nature of each living being. I enjoy seeing animals in their natural habitat, seeing their behavior in community and how they manifest their instincts ... It is really beautiful. Therefore, I would like to clarify that I do not agree with the distribution and sale of exotic animals as pets, I will simply propose a hypothetical scenario in which it has all the conditions so that an animal can live as it deserves ❤️.
Murciélago/Bat
Como buena gótica, siempre quise un murciélago... No me parecen nada intimidantes, de hecho, son muy adorables. Sé que por toda la situación que estamos viviendo a nivel mundial, han sido satanizados injustamente. La realidad es que son altamente indispensables para la preservación de muchos ecosistemas, ya que controlan plagas y dispersan semillas, por lo que hay gran cantidad de flora que depende de esta actividad tan particular. Son cazadores muy organizados y perspicaces, y se alimentan de insectos y frutas.
As a good goth, I always wanted a bat ... They don't seem intimidating at all, in fact, they are very adorable. I know that for all the situation that we are experiencing worldwide, they have been unfairly demonized. The reality is that they are highly indispensable for the preservation of many ecosystems, since they control pests and disperse seeds, so there is a large amount of flora that depends on this very particular activity. They are highly organized and insightful hunters, feeding on insects and fruits.
Los murciélagos realizan algo conocido como ecolocalización para poder cazar sus presas en la oscuridad y poder protegerse de amenazas. Básicamente es un sistema en el que producen ecos en su entorno. Al regresar el eco a su punto de partida, el murciélago puede percibir las dimensiones de un área, y todos los objetos que se encuentran a su alrededor.
Bats perform something known as echolocation in order to hunt their prey in the dark and to protect themselves from threats. Basically it is a system in which they produce echoes in their environment. By returning the echo to its starting point, the bat can perceive the dimensions of an area, and all the objects that are around it.

Si tuviese un murciélago bajo mi cuidado, procuraría vivir en un sitio que tuviese cuevas grandes, donde tendría a su disposición comida y agua. Obviamente lo vería de noche, lo cual no es problema porque soy un animal nocturno (tienes que ser mi amigo si entiendes la referencia).
If I had a bat in my care, I would try to live in a place that had large caves, where food and water would be available. Obviously I would see it at night, which is not a problem because I am a * nocturnal animal * (you have to be my friend if you understand the reference).
Lechuzas/Owls
Quien sea fan de la saga Harry Potter, siempre habrá querido una lechuza (o algún animal mitológico). A mi me fascinan, son elegantes y a nivel espiritual muy importantes. Para mi, lo más interesante y admirable de una lechuza, es su canto, el sonido que produce. Normalmente hay gente supersticiosa que asocia su forma de comunicarme como algo negativo, a mi en particular me parece increíble, aquí les adjunto una pequeña muestra. Literal hacen "shhhhhh shhhhhh".
Whoever is a fan of the * Harry Potter * saga, has always wanted an owl (or some mythological animal). They fascinate me, they are elegant and spiritually very important. For me, the most interesting and admirable thing about an owl is its song, the sound it produces. Normally there are superstitious people who associate their way of communicating as something negative, to me in particular it seems incredible, here I am attaching a small sample. Literally they do "shhhhhh shhhhhh ".
Son animales muy fuertes y rápidos para cazar. Suelen observar desde lo más alto de un árbol a sus presas (que suelen ser ratones y animalitos pequeños) y bajan directamente hacia ellos y los cazan. En general son increíbles cazadoras tienen muchas cosas a su favor, como un vuelo súper silencioso, la capacidad de girar sus cabezas hasta 180º y una excelente vista y oído. Son animales nocturnos y solitarios, duermen de día y de noche se despiertan, hacen un bello calentamiento con sus alas y salen a cazar.
They are very strong and fast animals to hunt. They usually observe their prey (which are usually mice and small animals) from the top of a tree and go down directly towards them and hunt them. Siento que una lechuza y yo nos entenderíamos muy bien, podríamos decirnos lo mucho que nos queremos utilizando el lenguaje gestual lejos de cualquier exceso de estímulo para no estresarla ni aturdirla. Podría hacerle una casita cerca del bosque y un lugar seguro para que haga un nido, y obviamente, la entrenaría para que sea mi mensajera 🤓. Todo con el debido respeto que merece, claro.
I feel that an owl and I would understand each other very well, we could tell each other how much we love each other using sign language away from any excess of stimulation so as not to stress or stun her. I could make her a little house near the forest and a safe place for her to make a nest, and obviously, I would train her to be my messenger 🤓. All with the due respect it deserves, of course.
Ágila arpía/Harpy eagle
¡Qué fascinante es esta ave! ¡Y es un animal que vive en nuestro territorio!. Es preciosa, tiene un hermoso plumaje con una cresta muy particular y unas grandes alas, larguísimas y garras muy fuertes. Obviamente con esas características, serían muy carnívoras, de hecho, devoran muchos tipos de mamíferos, incluyendo otras aves y animales muchos más grandes que ellas. Algo curioso de estas aves, es que las hembras tienden a ser las que son más grandes y a pesar de poner de 2 a 3 huevos cada dos años aproximadamente, suele sobrevivir un pichón.
How fascinating this bird is! And it is an animal that lives in our territory! It is beautiful, it has a beautiful plumage with a very particular crest and large, very long wings and very strong claws. Obviously with these characteristics, they would be very carnivorous, in fact, they devour many types of mammals, including other birds and animals much larger than themselves. Something curious about these birds is that the females tend to be the largest and despite laying 2 to 3 eggs every two years approximately, one chick usually survives.
Me duele muchísimo, porque es una de las especies en extinción más vulnerables en Venezuela. Por lo que definitivamente, por mucho que me encantaría poder estar cerca de una de estas Águilas, mi corazón no me permite poder plantear un escenario en donde sea domesticada. Me imagino más bien formando parte de un santuario de aves o un sitio donde se pueda preservar su especie. Quiero aprovechar para hacer un llamado a las personas a conectar un poco más con nuestros ecosistemas y contribuir para protegerlos. It hurts me a lot, because it is one of the most vulnerable endangered species in Venezuela. So definitely, as much as I would love to be close to one of these Eagles, my heart does not allow me to be able to create a scenario where it is domesticated. Rather, I imagine being part of a bird sanctuary or a place where its species can be preserved. I want to take this opportunity to call on people to connect a little more with our ecosystems and contribute to protect them. León/Lion
¿Qué decir del león? ¡Es como un gato gigante! Es un animal increíble en todos los sentidos, es fuerte, determinado, ágil... Es la representación del liderazgo, de la fuerza, del dominio. Lo que más me gusta de los leones y lo más precioso, es como viven en comunidad. Cada grupo de leones dentro de una manada cumple un rol específico y se organizan para trasladarse de un lugar a otro. Básicamente al sitio que van, es el sitio que mantienen bajo su dominio. Las leonas, son en su mayoría, las que tienen que cazar para poder mantener alimentada a la manada, son muy veloces y con mejor fisionomía que los machos para correr y alcanzar a sus presas. Son carnívoros, de eso no hay duda.
What to say about the lion? It's like a giant cat! It is an incredible animal in every way, it is strong, determined, agile ... It is the representation of leadership, strength, dominance. What I like the most about lions and the most precious thing is how they live in community. Each group of lions within a command fulfills a specific role and they organize to move from one place to another. Basically the site they go to is the site they maintain under their domain. The lionesses are basically the ones that have to hunt in order to keep the pride fed. They are fast and with a better physiognomy to run and reach their prey. They are carnivores, of that there is no doubt.
Lamentablemente, estos animales también son especies vulnerables. Por lo que su esperanza de vida es muy corta a menos que sean preservadas en cautiverio en refugios especiales... Me gustaría poder estar cerca de uno, y poder contribuir a preservar su especie... Poder crear un vínculo con un león y poder demostrarle que no voy a cazarlo ni a utilizarlo.
Unfortunately, these animals are also vulnerable species. So their life expectancy is very short unless they are preserved in captivity in special shelters ... I wish I could be close to one, and be able to contribute to preserve their species ... To be able to create a bond with a lion and to be able to show him I'm not going to hunt or use him.
Quiero cerrar este post, diciendo que es lindo apreciar animales, pero también es necesario poder poner un granito de arena, así sea con una pequeña acción, para que estos animales no sufran con las barbaries que hacen los humanos. Cuidemos a los animalitos ❤️ Ese es mi mensaje final.

¡Bello post! El águila arpía es una de las especies más hermosas que existen. Y es una lastima que la reducción del número de ejemplares se deba, entre otras cosas, a supersticiones absurdas con respecto a brujas y el rapto de niños, aunque bien podría tratarse de una justificación aún más absurda.

aaa me encantan, a mí también me gustan los murciélagos, una vez mi papá y yo salvamos uno que se cayó en mi casa porque tenía una alita herida :( pero sus orines sí huelen muy feo jajajajaja me gusta que hayas resaltado el punto de que lo mejor es que estén libres, pero entiendo tu punto, si en un mundo paralelo se pudieran tener todas las condiciones para darles amor sería muy lindo <3 gracias por invitarme, ahora hago el mío!
Siiii eres team murciélagos 😄 secundo lo de las orinas, cuando ensayaba en la USB recuerdo que en el auditorio de pabellón 6 siempre había nidos de murciélagos y siempre era un problema poder mantener limpia la sala x.x
Hace ya mas o menos unos 12 años, vi por primera vez una águila arpía en el parque del Este, quedé impactado, era demasiado imponente y quedé fascinado con ese animal. Creo que hace no mucho la pobre águila murió, esa noticia por una parte me entristeció pero también me contentó que descansara de esa "vida"

Also, I'd like to know where you obtained the photos you include of each animals? Are the sites you cite as the source allowing you to use the images free of charge? Just providing a link to a site doesn't mean the site has given you permission to use their photos.
