El pavo real es una bella ave de mediano tamaño con hermosas plumas de colo azul, puede llegar a medir máximo 2 metros y medio y su peso ocsila entre 3 a 8 kilos se conoce que la hembra es mas pequeña, de menor peso que el macho y en varias oportunidades he podido disfrutar de este hermoso paisaje pero de verdad que no me cansaría de apreciarlo me fascina el momento cuando el macho abre su abanico de plumas y las sacude para llamar la atención de alguna hembra, es todo un espectáculo.
