Hi there, my name is Graham and I am really happy to have found such an active community for pets here on Hive. 😀
This post will be my introduction to this community and will also serve as an entry into the great competition running now on the OCD group. You can click here to see the original post if you want to enter yourself.
We come from Scotland but in 2017 we bought a massive truck and left the country for ever. We now live off grid in a traveller community in a beautiful part of Spain called Andalusia. This really is a great place for pets which is why I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats!
We have Rogue, Tank-Girl, Kojak, kush and Haze.
For this post I am going to focus mainly on the leader of the pack and my best friend Rogue.
To begin his story I first have to mention my old dog Shiva who passed away 2 years ago. She was about 15 years old then which is really old for this type of dog. She was a Saluki crossed with a greyhound and she was such an amazing dog who definitely changed my life.
Shiva had a great last few years running on beaches in Morocco, Portugal and Spain. So much better than our previous city lifestyle. So when we arrived here in Spain we decided it would be good to get another dog so Shiva had some company. This is how we found Rogue. Someone had abandoned him here in town when he was about 4 months old. Not long after they became best buddies.
Rogue really loved Shiva and he would follow her around everywhere she went.
So the theme of the competition is getting to know your pet. I have really got to know Rogue over the last few years simply by spending quality time with him every day. I think this is an important part of training your dog and for your relationship in general.
Why did I name him Rogue ?
Well mainly due to his rock star good looks and his don't give a shit attitude. 😂
Also I have always liked the name from Rogue Trooper in 2000AD to Rogue from the X-Men and of course the classic game Rogue Trooper and more recently the movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
What is his favorite food ?
Rogue will eat almost anything. Probably chicken 😉
What was the funniest thing that happened to you with your pet?
Well Rogue makes me laugh every day when he rolls his eyes at me every time I tell him off. 😂

Last year Rogue became a father of 7 with my neighbours dog Charley.

We decided to keep one of the pups. His name is Kojak...but that's a whole other story....
