En la comunidad donde vivo todas las tardes llegaba un perro mestizo pero muy hermoso a buscar comida, tenía un estado de desnutrición y cuando se le ponía comida estaba desesperado.
In the community where I live, every afternoon a mongrel but very beautiful dog would arrive looking for food, he was malnourished and when he was given food he was desperate.
Todas las tardes lo esperábamos, hasta que un día paso una mujer y él fue corriendo a dónde estaba ella a lo que la mujer agarro un palo con intención de darle y todos los vecinos fuimos auxiliarlo, dijo que era de ella pero que no lo quería tener.
Every afternoon we waited for him, until one day a woman passed by and he went running to where she was and the woman grabbed a stick with the intention of hitting him and all the neighbors went to help him, he said it was hers but she didn't want to have it.
Una vecina y yo decidimos buscarla y la encontramos al llegar nos recibió con una actitud agresiva y dijo que no quería ese perro para nada, sus vecinos nos dijeron que ella lo maltrataba que hasta lo guindaba de su collar con intención de hacerle daño, el perro pasaba días amarrado sin comida.
A neighbor and I decided to look for her and we found her and when we arrived she received us with an aggressive attitude and said she did not want that dog at all, her neighbors told us that she mistreated him and even hung him from her collar with the intention of hurting him, the dog spent days tied up without food.
Fuimos a poner la denuncia y la sancionaron pero lamentablemente en mi país, aún el maltrato animal no es considerado un crimen solo las personas se les da una charla y no los condenan ni nada, por lo que se está luchando para que dicha ley sea reformulada.
We went to file a complaint and it was sanctioned but unfortunately in my country, animal abuse is still not considered a crime, only people are given a talk and they are not condemned or anything, so we are fighting for this law to be reformulated.
El perro cada vez se acercaba a mi edificio y en la noche maullaba y se pone como a llorar extrañaba a su dueña apesar de los maltratos porque ellos son seres muy fieles y no tienen maldad, yo le hice un collar muy lindo pero debido a su trauma lo muerde y no le gusta.
The dog every time he approached my building and at night he meowed and started to cry, he missed his owner in spite of the mistreatment because they are very faithful beings and have no malice, I made him a very nice collar but due to his trauma he bites it and he doesn't like it.
Al principio no se dejaba tocar de muchas personas y como sentía temor de las trataba de morder así que poco le transmitimos confianza y se ha ganado el cariño de todos.

Lo bañamos y estamos pendiente de su cuidado dentro de la escalera, todo aquel pasado tan cruel que pasó lo ha ido superando y es un perro muy feliz a quien bautizamos como Bobi.
We bathe him and we take care of him inside the staircase, all that cruel past has been overcome and he is a very happy dog who we baptized as Bobi.
