Me imaginé que el gran pelaje los protegía del invierno y también leí que gracias a esa gran capa de pelo estaban muy protegidos a las mordidas que pudiera hacerle un lobo que intentara atacar a la ovejas, creo que esta selección de la casta de este perro fue pensada con un poco mas de conciencia, puesto que el pelaje lo beneficia.
También leí que ellos nacen peludos pero no se le forman el pelaje como rastafaris sino hasta que están más grandes y que deben tener una buena alimentación, porque si tiene insuficiencia de vitamina K estas trenzas del pelo no se formaran y se les quedara el pelo todo pegajoso. Recuerdo con mucha risa cuando le mostré la foto de esta raza de perro por primera vez a mi mamá cuando yo era niña y le dije “mami quiero un perro así” a lo que ella respondió “parece un coleto” Un perro de adorable aspecto a mi parecer.

El perro arrugado, así lo llamé por muchísimo tiempo porque cuando no había acceso a internet como ahora era difícil de obtener información si no la encontrabas en libros, por ello aprendí el nombre de la raza muchos años después, esta raza de perro la conocí por un calendario que tenía una compañera de escuela en la pared de su casa, dicho calendario era el típico calendario de cartón que le habían regalado en una tienda en la ciudad, cuando ella vio que me gustaba mucho esa pareja de perros arruados me regalo el calendario y hasta el día de hoy conservo ese cartón. Cuando era adolecente cerca de mi casa por primara vez vi un ejemplar de la raza y quise acercarme a la casa donde estaba del otro lado de la reja , tuve una gran sorpresa al darme cuenta que el perrito era bastante malhumorado, hasta violento y también descubrí que se parecía un poco en los ojos al perro Chow Chow que tuvo mi hermana una vez, pensé que no podía ser que todos los perros chinos fueran tan bravitos jeje, pero igualmente siempre trataba de pasar cerca de esa casa aunque fuera para verlo de lejos.

Esto me desilusionó mucho, pero de todas formas no dejan de ser lindos, aunque sé que no sería bueno tener uno.
