I present to you Nero a nice kitty who has become part of my family for about a month. After the mysterious and tragic death of our last cat "Rasputin" my parents wanted to have another cat, because apart from being cute and keeping us company, cats perform some important tasks in the house such as keeping rodents and other undesirable animals away. One day some neighbor friends of my parents called and asked us if we wanted a kitten, that's how Nero came to our home.
Les presento a Nerón un simpático gatito que ha pasado a formar parte de mi familia desde hace aproximadamente un mes. Después del misterioso y trágico fallecimiento de nuestro último gato "Rasputín" mis padres deseaban tener otro gato, ya que aparte de ser lindos y darnos compañía, los gatos cumplen algunas labores importantes en la casa como mantener alejados a los roedores y otros animalitos indeseables. Un día unos vecinos amigos de mis padres llamaron y nos preguntaron si queríamos un gatito, fue así como Nerón llegó a nuestro hogar.

It was my idea to name him Nero and you may wonder why that name? Well, I didn't have any specific reason, I just like to name my pets after random historical figures, I find it funny.
Fué mi idea bautizarlo Nerón y se preguntarán ¿porqué ese nombre? pues no tuve ningún motivo específico, sencillamente me gusta colocarle a mis mascotas nombres de personajes históricos al azar, me parece gracioso.

Nero was in history a Roman emperor who became famous for having Rome burned, as well as being a cruel tyrant, but this four-legged Nero is nothing like his "namesake" on the contrary, he is very affectionate, he lets pet and loves to be played with.
Nerón fue en la historia un emperador romano que se hizo famoso por mandar a quemar Roma, además de ser un tirano cruel, pero este Nerón de cuatro patas en nada se parece a su "tocayo" por el contrario, es muy cariñoso, se deja acariciar y le encanta que jueguen con él.

Recientemente ha hecho muchísimo calor en la zona dónde vivo, y a Nerón le encanta echarse encima de la mesa que se encuentra en el porche de la casa, dónde intenta refrescarse un poco del calor sofocante

As I mentioned before, my kitten Nero is very sociable and likes to be petted and held, as you can see in the next photo.

My friend Emilia is a great cat lover, I know few people who love these little animals as much as she does, and every time she comes to visit me she immediately looks for Nero to pamper, hold and caress him.

Es una cuchitura Nerón, a esa edad son muy juguetones y hacen muchas travesuras, suerte con eso.
¡Hola! jeje pues sí vale definitivamente tienes toda la razón, a mis papás no les gusta dejarlo dentro de la casa, pero él siempre se las está ingeniando para ver cómo pasa, últimamente intenta colarse por la ventana de la cocina jeje ... ¡gracias por la visita y el comentario! ¡Saludos! :)

Nerón es un gato muy lindo, se ve elegante. Me encantan los gatos y más aún si se dejan acariciar y mimar, porque soy muy apegada a ellos, no dejaría de acariciarlos hasta cansarme.
