On Sunday I was visiting my friend You's house. It had been a long time since I went, and although I knew she had a new pet for a couple of months ago, I had never seen it in real life 😃.
"Carlita" at first was "Carlitos" but later, during her visit to the vet, we discovered that it was "her" and not "him".
El domingo estuve de visita en la casa de mi amiga You. Llevaba un tiempo largo sin ir, y aunque sabía que hace un par de meses tiene una mascota nueva, aún nunca la había visto en la vida real 😀.
"Carlita" al principio era "Carlitos" pero luego, en su visita al veterinario, descubrimos que era "ella" y no "él".
My friend works in a mall in a sales position. One day she discovered that one of the articles boxes she had had small bites on it. When she began to investigate what it was, she discovered this little hamster hidden among the cardboard boxes. It probably ran away from the mall's pet store. However, no one ever claimed it. So she adopted it and brought it home.
Mi amiga trabaja en un centro comercial en un puesto de ventas. Un día descubrió que una de las cajas que tenía tenía pequeñas mordeduras. Cuando se puso a investigar que era, descubrió a este pequeño hámster oculto entre las cajas de cartón. Probablemente se haya escapado de la tienda de mascotas del centro comercial. Sin embargo, nadie lo reclamó nunca. Entonces lo adoptó y se lo llevó a la casa.
Now Carlita lives in a large mansion exclusively for her. My friend took it upon herself to turn a huge container into a shelter for Carlita, and she even has a private room with her own name on it!
Ahora Carlita vive en una gran mansión exclusiva para ella. Mi amiga se encargó de convertir un contenedor enorme en un refugio para Carlita, ¡y hasta tiene una habitación privada con su propio nombre!
Carlita is very friendly with my friend. She likes to be stroked. Although I did not dare to do it 😂.
Carlita es muy amistosa con mi amiga. Le gusta que la acaricien. Aunque yo no me animé a hacerlo 😂.
The hamster feeds on small seeds and worms. It has a strange way of feeding, it is so big it fits in its own plate!
El hámster se alimenta de pequeñas semillas y gusanos. Tiene una forma extraña de alimentarse, ¡es tan grande que entra en su propio plato!
Without a doubt I found this little hamster very adorable although I am not very familiar with rodents in general. I could never have a pet like that anyway. It would be incompatible with my five cats 😂.
Sin dudas este pequeño hámster me pareció muy adorable aunque no estoy muy familiarizada con los roedores en general. De todos modos, nunca podría tener una mascota así. Sería incompatible con mis cinco gatos 😃.
