La mascota temporal de la familia [ESP-ENG]

Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes que un tipo de lagarto ha llegado a mi cocotero hace unas semanas, cuando lo vi por primera vez no lo tomé mucho en cuenta, pero pudimos observar que cuando estábamos en el patio, como mecanismo de defensa se quedaba inmóvil y hasta cierto punto su piel se tornaba del color del ambiente. Esto nos llamó mucho la atención.

Hello my dear friends of Hive, today I want to share with you that a type of lizard has arrived to my coconut tree a few weeks ago, when I saw it for the first time I did not take it much into account, but we could observe that when we were in the patio, as a defense mechanism it remained immobile and to a certain extent its skin turned to the color of the environment. This really caught our attention.

Aunque les parezca un poco increíble, mi familia piensa que es nuestra mascota, y les voy a contar por qué. Durante estos días nos dimos cuenta de que tenía una garrapata en el cuello, y ¡qué decir! Aunque pensamos que en ningún momento podríamos quitársela porque como algo natural se iba a alejar de nosotros, con mucha paciencia nos acercamos a ella para ganarnos su confianza, obviamente a la primera vez no nos dejó acercarnos, ni a la segunda ni a la tercera, pero la paciencia de mi familia fue más fuerte.

Even if it seems a little unbelievable to you, my family thinks she is our pet, and I will tell you why. During these days we noticed that she had a tick on her neck, and what do you know! Although we thought that at no time we could remove it because as something natural she was going to move away from us, with a lot of patience we approached her to gain her trust, obviously at the first time she didn't let us approach her, neither the second nor the third time, but my family's patience was stronger.

Un día cuando pensábamos que iba a hacer otro intento infructuoso, con un saca cejas en la mano, y haciendo movimientos muy suaves, nos permitió sujetar esa garrapata y poder desprenderla de su cuello, a partir de ahí mi familia, todos, le tomamos más cariño, de hecho, tanto es así que en casa tenemos un gato llamado "Mirú" del que tenemos mucho cuidado para que no se lo coma, cada vez que se acerca al cocotero no lo perdemos de vista.

Al ver lo dócil que se ha vuelto esta lagartija tomé la iniciativa de tomarles algunas fotos para compartirlas con todos ustedes, y como dije antes creo que su mecanismo de defensa es que se mantienen lo más tranquilos posible cuando alguien se les acerca, aunque no fue tan fácil conseguir algunas fotos de ellos, creo que en comparación con otros tipos de lagartijas me dio sus mejores ángulos.

Seeing how docile this lizard has become I took the initiative to take some pictures of them to share them with all of you, and as I said before I think their defense mechanism is that they stay as calm as possible when someone approaches them, although it was not so easy to get some pictures of them, I think that compared to other types of lizards they gave me their best angles.

En casa queremos mucho a los animales, y mi familia y yo en particular, estamos muy contentos de haber podido ayudarla quitándole la garrapata. Este hecho nos enseñó que siempre debemos cuidar a nuestros animales, aunque no sean nuestras mascotas debemos hacer todo lo que esté en nuestras manos para ayudarlos, espero que os gusten las fotos. Para nosotros seguirá siendo nuestra mascota, al menos hasta que decida irse, aunque ya tiene algunas semanas con nosotros.

At home we love animals very much, and my family and myself in particular, are very happy to have been able to help her by removing the tick. This fact taught us that we should always take care of our animals, even if they are not our pets we should do everything in our power to help them, I hope you like the pictures. For us she will continue to be our pet, at least until she decides to leave, although she already has some weeks with us.

Hermoso reptil, que bueno que le removieron la garrapata, uno subestima pero las garrapatas pueden ser la muerte para este tipo de reptiles tristemente :C, un abrazo y saludos a su gato, que no se coma al amigo reptil :D
