Feeding my little dinosaurs
Yesterday my little dinosaurs feasted on some mangoes that I placed in the garden, the adults are quite restless and gluttonous, so as I saw that they were trying to eat a green mango I proceeded to chop up a couple of ripe mangoes.
They usually eat a lot of mangoes during the mango season, this season the load was quite abundant so you can imagine that they have eaten quite a lot of mangoes.
The breeding season is approaching again and the male "Julio" is already courting the females. It is possible that in two weeks time we will see the females digging holes in the ground to lay their eggs.

I love my rare animals
For me morrocoys are rare, strange and exotic animals, they are beings that are almost unobtrusive and walk from one side to the other. They reproduce very easily, at least the ones I have here in my house reproduce about 5 times a year and there are always clutches that are giving birth to new offspring.
The morrocoys are like herbivorous dinosaurs, they devour every nutrient-rich plantation in their path, they have devoured in days some plants that are born and grown in the house, they damage the fences that we make to protect them from them and they themselves are capable of drifting them to enter the conuco and eat the plants, in short, my morrocoys are quite tremendous and restless.

That is why I always try to give them an extra portion of food in addition to what they naturally eat in the garden by themselves.
Mangoes are a delicacy for them, that's why I try to give them every day some pieces of mangoes to supplement their diet and feeding.

Alimentando a mis pequeños dinosaurios
Ayer mis pequeños dinosaurios se dieron un banquete con algunos mangos que les coloqué en el jardín, los adultos son bastante inquietos y glotones, así que como vi que se estaban tratando de comer un mango verde procedí a picarle un par de mangos maduros.
Ellos suelen comer muchos mangos durante la temporada de mangos, esta temporada la carga fue bastante abundante así que se imaginaran que han comido bastante mangos.
Se acerca nuevamente la temporada de reproducción y ya el macho "Julio" está cortejando a las hembras. Es posible que dentro de dos semanas veamos a las hembras abriendo huecos en la tierra para sembrar sus huevos.

Amo mis raros animales
Para mi los morrocoyes son animales raros, extraños y exóticos, son seres que casi no molestan y caminan de una lado al otro. Ellos se reproducen con gran facilidad, por lo menos los que tengo aqui en mi casa se reproducen unas 5 veces al año y siempre hay nidadas que están dando cuna a nuevas crías.
Los morrocoyes son como dinosaurios herbívoros, arrasan con toda plantación rica en nutrientes a su paso, ellos han devorado en días algunas plantas que nacen y se cultivan en la casa, dañan las cercas que les hacemos para protegerlos de ellos y ellos mismo son capaces de derivarlas para entrar al conuco y comer las plantas, en fin, mis morrocoyes son bastante tremendo e inquietos.

Es por ello que siempre trato de darles una porción de comida extra a parte de la que ellos comen naturalmente en el jardín por si solos.
Los mangos son un manjar para ellos, es por eso que trato de darles todos los días algunos trozos de mangos para que complementen su dieta y alimentación.
