Cats are very independent animals. Despite not being animals of my liking (to tell the truth, I fear them in a certain way), I do not fail to recognize their intelligence and their capacity to be very independent and easy-going.
While it is true that some of them are pets and do their best in that role, in my case, I have always seen them from afar. They seem to me to be shrouded in an air of mystery and instill a certain fear in me. Some of them manage to coexist in a good way with the dogs and, in other cases, the saying that goes like cats and dogs, that is to say, perennial fights, hahaha, comes true.
Contrary to dogs that are dependent and playful, cats are more mystical and distant. Many of them spend the night at home with their owners. Others, more stray, go out to travel the world but always remember to return home. They do not depend on their owners for food, grooming, and other necessities.
At Christmas, I had the opportunity to travel away from home to share at my brother's mother-in-law's house. She lives in a first-floor apartment (the first floor it is called) and many stray cats come there in search of food.
There were a lot of them and what impressed me the most was their intelligence to know when to show up. Right at lunchtime, they would take up positions all around the front of the building because a lady on the second floor always comes down at that time to put food out for them.
My brother's mother-in-law protests about this situation because that amount of cats roam around the gardens and there is no one to control them (stray cats). However, I had the opportunity to take several pictures for this publication.
In one of them, you can see the cats located at the entrance of the building. That was the cat gathering, just at the time when the lady comes down to put food for them. I was impressed by her accuracy in timing. Incredibly intelligent animals, no doubt.
Some were lying down like kings, and a really beautiful variety.
This cute little kitten under the truck, really beautiful with its pretty eyes.
And this beauty, her name is Misia. She's a kitten that my brother's mother-in-law adopted and she comes in the back door every day at the same time to get her food.
They are beautiful and intelligent animals. They live their lives the way they want to. Sometimes attached to their owners. At other times, free as the wind, and staying wherever they want, without a definite home.

Historias de gatos
Un felino de gran misterio,
independiente y tenaz.
A veces es doméstico,
otras veces, la calle es su hogar...
Los gatos son animales muy independientes. A pesar de no ser animales de mi agrado (a decir verdad, les temo en cierta forma), no dejo de reconocer su inteligencia y su capacidad de ser muy independientes y desenvueltos.
Si bien es cierto que algunos son mascotas y se desenvuelven de la mejor manera en ese papel, en mi caso, siempre los he visto de lejos. Me parecen envueltos en aires de misterio y me infunden cierto temor. Algunos llegan a convivir de buena manera con los perros y, en otros casos, se cumple aquel dicho que reza como perros y gatos, es decir, peleas perennes jajaja.
Al contrario de los perros que son dependientes y juguetones, el gato es mas místico y alejado. Muchos pernoctan en las casa con sus dueños. Otros, mas callejeros, salen a recorrer mundo pero, siempre recuerdan volver a su hogar. No dependen de sus dueños para conseguir alimento, asearse y otros menesteres.
En Navidad, tuve la oportunidad de viajar fuera de mi hogar, a compartir en la casa de la suegra de mi hermano. Ella vive en un apartamento en un piso bajo (planta baja se llama) y allí se la pasan muchos gatos vagabundos que llegan hasta allá en busca de alimento.
Eran realmente una gran cantidad y, lo que mas me impresionò fue, su inteligencia de saber cuando aparecer en el sitio. Justo a la hora de la comida, tomaban ubicación en todo el frente del edificio pues, una señora en el primer piso, siempre baja a esa hora a ponerles comida.
La suegra de mi hermano protesta por tal situación pues, esa cantidad de gatos anda en desbandada por los jardines y no hay quien los controle (gatos callejeros). Sin embargo, tuve la oportunidad de tomar varias fotografías para esta publicación.
En una de ellas, se observan los gatos ubicados en la entrada del edificio. Esa era la reuniòn gatuna, justamente a la hora en que la señora baja a colocarles comida. Me impresionò su exactitud para el horario. Unos animales increiblemente inteligentes, sin duda alguna.
Habìa algunos acostados como reyes, y una variedad realmente hermosa.
Este lindo gatito debajo de la camioneta, realmente hermoso con sus lindos ojos.
Y esta belleza, se llama Misia. Es una gatita que adoptò la suegra de mi hermano y viene todos los días por la puerta trasera a la misma hora, a buscar su alimento.
Son unos animales definitivamente hermosos e inteligentes. Ellos viven su vida como mejor quieren. Algunas veces, apegados a sus dueños. En otras, libres como el viento, y quedándose donde ellos deseen, sin un hogar definido.

The cats gather there and attract more because they found a benefactor to feed them. That happens all the time. I see a lot of stray cats in coastal towns, they live near the water usually.

That is a lot of cats! And they really are quite intelligent creatures. One nice thing about cats is that they keep themselves clean, too, and are very self sufficient. With the exception of feeding, anyway. 😃

Los gatos, en su mayoría, son ariscos por naturaleza, pero algunos se dejan querer. De todas maneras, yo también los veo de lejitos y con respeto, amiga. Nunca los he tenido como mascotas, y los admiro por su independencia, inteligencia y actitud, dígame el de la cuarta foto, relajado, pero atento, y con unos ojos bellos.
