Dealing with children and other pets
Siberian Huskies are great dogs for households with children. They are very tolerant of children but like all other dogs they should be supervised when around small children. They can do harm unintentionally.

Always teach children how to approach and touch dogs and avoid any biting, ear or tail pull from either side. Teach your child not to approach or take any dog's food while eating. No dog should be left unattended with a child.

Siberian Huskies get along well with other dogs, but it's still important to take your puppy to socialization classes or the park. Although they are already very affectionate with strangers, this activity gets them used to other dogs and people. Socialization teaches puppies how to behave and greet other dogs and their owners.

Remember the history of this breed. The harsh weather conditions in Siberia created a strong hunting sensation in the breed because food was often difficult to find. As a result, many Husky today consider small animals such as squirrels, rabbits, and cats as prey. However, they get along well with their peers, especially from puppyhood when they live in multi-dog homes.

My sister has two children and they got along incredibly well with my dog Lady from a young age. Until today, we have not had any problems in communication with children, and they are incredibly enjoyable times.

Stay with love!
