I want to tell you that I feel great affinity for animals, they are the most special living beings that our planet can have; without them life in this world would be impossible. They deserve all our respect and admiration, as they also deserve preservation from all of us, that's why three years ago I decided to adopt two cats and recently a puppy.
Meet Freyja, she was the first to arrive and the first to become part of my family, she's 4 years old and she's very affectionate although she doesn't look like it. She loves to spend time in the sun and enjoy the scenery, she also loves to sleep, that's what she does most of the time.
Quiero comentarles que siento gran afinidad por los animales, son los seres vivos más especiales que puede tener nuestro planeta; sin ellos la vida en este mundo sería imposible. Merecen todo nuestro respeto y admiración, como también merecen la preservación por parte de todos nosotros, por eso hace tres años decidí adoptar dos gatas y hace poco un cachorro.
Les presento a Freyja, ella fue la primera en llegar y la primera en convertirse parte de mi familia, tiene 4 años y es muy cariñosa aunque no lo parezca. Le gusta pasar tiempo bajo el sol y disfrutar del paisaje, también le encanta dormir, es lo que hace la mayoría del tiempo.

She is Skadii, she's 3 years old and arrived a little after Freyja. At first when they met they hated each other, always fighting and growling at each other, but as time went by they became very close. Skadii is very different from Freyja, she's very naughty and electric. She loves to climb everywhere and run around, but she's also very affectionate.
Ella es Skadii, tiene 3 años y llegó un poco después de Freyja. Al principio cuando se conocieron se odiaban, siempre peleaban y se gruñían, pero al pasar el tiempo se volvieron muy unidas. Skadii es muy diferente a Freyja, ella es muy traviesa y eléctrica. Le gusta mucho treparse por todos lados y correr alrededor, aunque también es muy cariñosa.

And last but not least, Buri. He recently arrived to our family, he's 4 months old and he's very big despite his young age. He is very playful and mischievous, just like Skadii, he loves to go to the beach and enjoy the sea, he is always running around looking to play with others, he also gets along very well with other dogs, he loves to make friends.
Y por último pero no menos importante, Buri. Él llegó hace poco a nuestra familia, tiene 4 meses y es muy grande a pesar de su poca edad. Él es muy juguetón y travieso, igual que Skadii, le gusta mucho ir a la playa y disfrutar del mar, siempre anda corriendo por todos lados buscando jugar con los demás, también se lleva muy bien con otros perros, ama hacer amigos.
A curious fact about my pets are their names, each of them is named after a Norse Mythological God or as many know them, Vikings. "Freyja" (Norse for "The Lady") is described as the god of love, beauty and fertility, although she is also associated with war, death, magic and prophecy.
Skadii is the goddess of winter and all that goes with it (mountains, snow, storms and also the wild). She was also a bow hunter and is associated with vengeance. And finally Buri, he was the first god in Norse mythology, he was the father of Bor and grandfather of Odin (father of Thor and Loki).
Un dato curioso de mis mascotas son sus nombres, cada uno de ellos se llama como un Dios Mitológico Nórdico o como muchos los conozcan, Vikingos. “Freyja” (en el nórdico significa “La Señora”) es descrita como la diosa del amor, la belleza y la fertilidad, aunque también se le relaciona con la guerra, la muerte, la magia y la profecía. Skadii es la diosa del invierno y todo lo que lleva aparejado (las montañas, la nieve, las tempestades y también lo salvaje). También era una cazadora con arco y se le asocia con la venganza. Y por último Buri, él fue el primer dios en la mitología nórdica, fue el padre de Bor y abuelo de Odín (padre de Thor y Loki).
