Mi Primera Mascota
Hola, espero estén teniendo un excelente día. Hoy quiero presentarles a la nueva miembro de mi familia, Ellie, una perrita de 2 meses que adopté hace menos de dos semanas, por medio de una amiga de mi mamá. Es la primera mascota que tengo y no mentiré, estos días han sido una montaña rusa emocional.
Hi, I hope you are having a great day. Today I want to introduce you to the newest member of my family, Ellie, a 2 month old puppy that I adopted less than two weeks ago, through a friend of my mom's. She is the first pet I've had and I won't lie, these days have been an emotional roller coaster.
Recuerdo que desde muy pequeña siempre quise tener un perrito, los años pasaron, crecí y ese deseo se mantuvo intacto. Pasé gran parte de mi vida tratando de que este sueño se volviera realidad y finalmente lo logré luego de muchos meses de búsqueda.
I remember that since I was a little girl I always wanted to have a puppy, years went by, I grew up and that desire remained intact. I spent most of my life trying to make this dream come true and I finally achieved it after many months of searching.
Todo gracias a mi mamá, que a decir verdad le preguntó a cada persona que pudo y estuvo muy al pendiente del asunto, sinceramente esto fue algo muy significativo para mi y quiero aprovechar esta oportunidad para darle las gracias nuevamente, admito que le agradezco cada vez que puedo y aun así sigo sintiendo que no es suficiente.
All thanks to my mom, who to tell the truth asked every person she could and was very attentive to the matter, honestly this was something very significant for me and I want to take this opportunity to thank her again, I admit that I thank her every time I can and yet I still feel that it is not enough.
El 11 de este mes mi mamá recibió un WhatsApp de su amiga, la cual le hablaba acerca de la perrita y adjuntaba una foto, ambas nos emocionamos muchísimo y como era de esperarse, hicimos todos los arreglos necesarios para pasarla buscando. Ese mismo día en la noche, fui junto con mi papá y mi prima a buscar a Ellie, al llegar la vi dentro de un pequeña caja usando un lindo vestido rosado, en pocas palabras... fue amor a primera vista.
On the 11th of this month my mom received a WhatsApp from her friend, which told her about the puppy and attached a picture, we both got very excited and as expected, we made all the necessary arrangements to pass her looking for her. That same day in the evening, I went with my dad and my cousin to look for Ellie, when I arrived I saw her inside a small box wearing a cute pink dress, in a few words... it was love at first sight.
Es mucho lo que tengo para decir con respecto al día de su llegada pero lo dejaré hasta aquí, ahora quiero hablarles un poco acerca de mi bendición, ella es increíblemente inteligente al punto en que asusta un poco, es extremadamente astuta. Su mirada y su forma de actuar son completamente opuestas, ella luce súper inofensiva y tranquila pero luego de verla jugando, sabrás que eso no es del todo cierto.
There is a lot I have to say regarding the day of her arrival but I will leave it until here, now I want to tell you a little bit about my blessing, she is incredibly intelligent to the point where she is a little scary, she is extremely cunning. Her look and mannerisms are completely opposite, she looks super harmless and calm but after watching her play, you'll know that's not quite true.
La comparan mucho con un oso polar porque además de ser totalmente blanca, sus ojos ligeramente caídos dan cierta sensación que te hace pensar en dicho animal. Ellie es de raza mestiza, su padre es Chow Chow y su madre es Callejera o así se le dice aquí. Hasta el momento no se bien cuan grande será pero ya esta conmigo y eso es lo de menos.
She is often compared to a polar bear because besides being totally white, her slightly droopy eyes give you a certain feeling that makes you think of such an animal. Ellie is of mixed breed, her father is Chow Chow and her mother is Callejera, or so she is called here. So far I don't know how big she will be but she is already with me and that's the least of it.
Por último quiero decirles la razón por la cual escogí su nombre, es por Navier Ellie Trovi, la protagonista de mi Webtoon favorito La Emperatriz Divorciada, el cual adoro y recomiendo muchísimo.
Finally I want to tell you the reason why I chose her name, it's because of Navier Ellie Trovi, the main character of my favorite Webtoon The Remarried Empress, which I love and recommend a lot.
