Catalina y Roberto
Hola querida comunidad de Hive Pets , hoy les traigo una publicación para presentarles a Roberto y Catalina, los cuales son dos cotorras o loros que están en casa de mi hermana.
Roberto es el Loro de mi sobrino Luis, mientras que Catalina es una cotorra que le pertenecía a una amiga de mi hermana que tuvo que emigrar a Colombia y no tenía a quien dejarle su preciada mascota , por lo que mi hermana se ofreció amablemente a cuidarla, ya que ella disfruta de las aves.
Ambos tienen bastante años, ya que Roberto tiene como 12 años en la casa y Catalina cómo 10 en su casa antes de mudarse.
Ambos tienen juntos como 1 año y medio y lo que más me ha llamado la atención es que no han tenido críos. Realmente es algo que me sorprende.
Ambos tienen personalidades distintas. Catalina es más calmada mientras que Roberto es más alborotado y gritón jaja también Roberto pronuncia más palabras como mamá , papá abuela, Luis , José y hola. Es algo muy gracioso cuando comienza a gritarlas porque hacen como una especie de imitación a las voces de las personas que viven en esa casa.
Catalina no es tan parlanchina, quizá aún extraña a sus verdaderos dueños , es algo que me da pesar, porque quizá llegamos a creer erróneamente que los animales no sienten, pero yo creo que ellos si reconocen a sus dueños y llegan a sentir algo de nostalgia cuando se separan de ellos.
Ellos disfrutan comiendo frutas, entre ellas mango que en esta ciudad hay todo el año e incluso en muchos patios de casas y también comen lechosa y cambur o banana. Toman mucha agua cuando comen y como está haciendo mucho calor por las altas temperaturas toman mucho más, y por esa razón son colocados en un lugar en el patio donde pega mucho viento para que no se acaloren. También he visto que disfrutan comiendo arroz blanco cocido y algunas semillas de girasol.
Tener una mascota requiere de cuidados siempre. En el caso de estas cotorras algunas veces durante la tarde ellas andan sueltas en la casa y no se van ni se alejan , pero para dormir tienen su jaula. Ya ellos como que saben.
Espero que hayan disfrutado conociendo a esta pareja tan peculiar.

Hello dear community of Hive Pets, today I bring you a post to introduce you to Roberto and Catalina, which are two parrots or parrots that are at my sister's house.
Roberto is the parrot of my nephew Luis, while Catalina is a parrot that belonged to a friend of my sister who had to emigrate to Colombia and had no one to leave her precious pet, so my sister kindly offered to take care of her, as she enjoys birds.
They are both quite old, as Roberto has been in the house for about 12 years and Catalina for about 10 years before moving.
They have been together for about a year and a half and what has caught my attention is that they have not had any offspring. It is really something that surprises me.
They both have different personalities. Catalina is calmer while Roberto is more rambunctious and loud haha also Roberto pronounces more words like mama, papa, abuela, Luis, José and hola. It's kind of funny when he starts shouting them because they kind of imitate the voices of the people who live in that house.
Catalina is not so talkative, maybe she still misses her real owners, it is something that makes me regret, because maybe we mistakenly believe that animals do not feel, but I believe that they do recognize their owners and feel some nostalgia when they are separated from them.
They enjoy eating fruits, among them mangoes, which are available all year round in this city and even in many backyards, and they also eat milky milk and bananas. They drink a lot of water when they eat and as it is very hot because of the high temperatures they drink a lot more, and for that reason they are placed in a place in the patio where it is very windy so they don't get hot. I have also seen that they enjoy eating cooked white rice and some sunflower seeds.
Having a pet always requires care. In the case of these parrots sometimes during the afternoon they run loose in the house and do not leave or go away, but to sleep they have their cage. They already kind of know.
