It’s a tough sub and they’re very picky anyway.
In terms of reaching a wider audience with Hive content, we, as Hive users, create diverse content in the fields of travel and photography, urban exploration, history, culture, and nature. Similar communities appear scattered on Reddit. So why not have a community called HiveWanderers (other names are also possible)? We could create one ourselves. The purpose of the community could be to share Hive users' travel writings, photos, architectural explorations, historical sites, and nature experiences under one roof. This would allow us to direct users to Hive posts and contribute to more people discovering Hive content. I think the HiveWanderers community could become a popular community where everyone can easily share, and Hive users can freely share the stories and photos they create.
The idea is nice but I think Reddit would likely flag or ban it fairly quickly, lol. because of the linking. And probably wouldn’t be enough for promoting Hive effectively on its own as it will not generate much visibility, people engage in Reddit with the post in front of them.
The idea is good, but a subreddit with only/mostly Hive shares will be considered promotional, and won't grow / maybe get banned.
To build a big travel subreddit, you first need to post images without Hive links for several months. And even after that, you can't often post Hive link as your subscribers will see "okay, this subreddit only serves as a marketing tool for PeakD and Ecency" and will leave.
Such a big subreddit can be beneficial for Hive in other ways but... it's much work to do, and it requires cooperation between Hivers, and nobody will pay you for that.
