I got my car delivery this month and there is a registration process that takes about a week time. Last week I got fastag activated while I also got the registration number and number plate for the vehicle. No since I am planning to go for a travel trip next month I thought why shouldn't I buy the annual pass which can help me save some money on the toll charges. So those who don't know in India the government has introduced a toll pass which is kind of a membership that allows the private vehicle to save money on the toll charges.
This cost 3000 INR and valid for 1 year or 200 tribes which ever happens early. It is applicable on most of the toll plaza except some of the toll sites that are not manage directly by the government so technically it is valid on each toll site which is managed by the government.
I heard good feedback about the service about this service. I never used fastag because whenever I hired car, this was managed by the taxi owner itself so I never bother to no more about it and this is why I am trying to learn more about it and have taken some feedback from friends who are already driving the vehicle and using this facility. Most of them have shared a good feedback because through this annual pass they are able to save a good amount of money while travelling.
Today and I was trying to activate the annual pass for my car it was not working and I am getting an error that the registration number is not found in the database which is a bit annoying. It is rain because I got the registration number formalities the already and I have already got the number plate for my vehicle so the database should have been completed and updated by now.
Possibly this is happening because the entire database is not updated for my car and I don't know how much time it is going to take because there is no such deadline and I tried to connect with the support team which was also not really much helpful. They could not provide any ETA for the same by which these database update will be completed and I will not be able to buy the past unless this part is completed in the government database.
I don't like this delay with the government services because all they charge is paid upfront and even after making the payment there is no specific information available. Now I have two options out of reach one is like I can go ahead without buying the travel pass which can be little expensive for me or I can hold on to plan the trip till the time this database is updated and then I can buy the past and plan my travel trips accordingly.
I thought that I should wait for some more time which can be probably one week because ultimately I am planning to go for some vacation in middle of December now. I hope that by that time it will be done. I just hope. Thank you!

3 thousand mein pure saal ke liye free pass to acchi deal lag rahi hai par ye bhi sach hai ki aaj bhi kai jagahon par government own toll plaza nahi hote hain to wo sab additional kharchon mein humesha rahega. Par agar is ek saal mein aapne 3-4 vacations bhi kar liye to samjho paisa vasool hai
